I just love this place. What a fun and unique experience. My 12 year old loved the ferry, the golf cart, and finding amazing shells on the beautiful beach.

It's hard to have a bad time on Little Gasparilla island. Having a great host always makes it better. The condo was great and the host was great as well. John was very responsive to any questions and their condo was great. The location was great and the condo was beautifully done. Great trip for our family if 4.Will definitely be trying for this condo every time we visit. Thanks again for the hospitality.

We had the most wonderful time. We've been to LGI before and chose this island specifically. The ferry is a huge bonus as well as the golf cart. John was an excellent communicator . The beds were comfortable and the pillows were the best. Every day early morning, coffee and a long walk on the beach. Then back to the condo and each day we took the ferry to shop a little and grab lunch at a new location. We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday and had planned early to pick up a cake from Sassy Tarts. The cake was exceptional. We did a little crafting, fishing, sharks tooth hunting and shell collecting. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back. We absolutely loved it so much.

Our stay

We arrived after dark and could not find the condo we wandered around for a long time lugging the luggage carts. The condo units were not marked very well and we were eaten alive by the mosquitos. I tried to call the owner and he did not respond back to me. Luckily someone answered their door to help us out.the back doors were broken and we couldn’t use the dishwasher. However the beach was pristine and we had a wonderful time .

A Wonderful Stay Was Had By All

The house has been updated and renovated beautifully. We had all the kitchen utensils, etc. that could need; however, we thought it would have been nice to be left more than one roll of paper towels and a half-roll of toilet paper in the downstairs bathroom. I didn't go upstairs so I don't know if that one was a full roll. We were told ahead of time we would be left one roll so we did bring some ourselves. We enjoyed reading the photo book about the family's experience buying and getting the condo in shape. So glad they took the time and effort that it required. We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time and didn't mind the bit of noise from the next-door renovations. So glad we had a golf cart and the hand-cart for takiing our luggage, etc. to and from the dock. We loved the view from the porch and the beach was lovely. A perfect time of year to visit. We'll try to visit again and will most likely book this condo again.

We have been coming to the island since 2008 and we were very happy to support the return of renters to LGI and Hideaway. The beautiful beaches and wildlife was plentiful and we even got to see some sea turtles returning to the ocean after laying their eggs! Hideaway Bay and the owners have been through a lot and each day it seemed like you could feel the progress that everyone has been working so hard for. Pack lighter than you think, sunscreen and bug spray was already in the condo waiting for us (we left what we brought for the next renters) and enjoy the tranquility of LGI. 7/7 sunny days, temps 85-90, no rain, great AC and great memories.

Graduation Celebration

My son and I stayed on the island and we loved the condo. The beach was fun and not crowded. We had it to ourselves one day. We found plenty of shells and shark teeth. The gulf cart was nice to drive and haul all our stuff back and forth from the condo and the beach. We even used the two person kayak. The condo was clean and communication with the owners was great. We will definitely come back and stay again.

Family Vacation

The island was beautiful, we loved the condo very clean. They were very responsive with any questions we had, would highly recommend to anyone that wants to get away from the hussle and bussle. We are planning to return we loved it so much.

Excellent care for guests

We did not actually get to stay at this rental due to hurricane Ian, but the hosts communicated so well with me leading up to the trip, answering all my questions promptly. Sadly, the hurricane did a lot of damage to the island, but the hosts refunded all our money since we couldn’t stay there. This was beyond what the rental agreement would have said to do, and I am so thankful they were so kind! I hope to get to stay at their place in the future, but in the meantime, know that these are exceptional hosts!

Great Labor Day Weekend

This was my 2nd time at LGI and HBBC and this property was excellent, clean, newer remodel unit. They had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Looking to book our next trip soon. Maybe here or in John's new unit in building H. We absolutely love HBBC.

Best Vacation EVER!

This was one of our best vacations ever! The island never disappoints. The accommodations and property were better than expected! This was our home for a week! Plenty for the kids to play with and enjoy. The golf cart was fantastic and made life more enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, and all the necessities to make our time the most enjoyable! Highly recommend this property and property owner...a pleasure to work with. We had a blast and we will be back!

Escape from life to paradise!

This is our 3rd year at the same property and we cannot be happier! We love the new updated kitchen countertops. The unit is always clean and has a great view. We love having the beach so close and taking the golf cart there is a bonus! Being an isolated, car-free island, we love how empty the beaches are and it really is paradise without shoulder-to-shoulder tourists. We love how quiet it is and how we can spend time relaxing with our family. The hosts communicate really well and we just love this place. It's our new yearly tradition!

Great stay in paradise! Condo was well stocked and we’d recommend LGI and Hideaway Bay to anyone. The ferry service and golf cart are a must if you don’t have a boat. Looking forward to going back!
