Beyond all expectations! The island was amazing in itself. Every detail was well-thought out, from the arrival drinks to the luxurious outdoor bathrooms. The food was incredible! But the thing that will bring us back was the 5 star service. We had everything we needed and way more. From the concierge, Heidy, who was in constant communication day or night, to Chef Ernesto and his sous chef, Modesto, who kept us fed with three excellent meals every day, to Mike and Jazz, who were ready to jump in the boat at a moment's notice, to Rod who tied everything together with perfect drinks and great conversation. This team made my wife's 60th birthday a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Paradise

My business partner and I took 8 of our employees to Little Harvest Caye for a weeklong retreat and we just can't say enough how perfect it was! This little island is immaculate. The beds were comfortable, the food and drinks were amazing (thank you Oscar!), and the staff was incredible! Our concierge, Heidy had everything planned out for us and made everything so easy and convenient for us. There was so much to do there that we were never bored and only went to the mainland just a couple times to shop. If I had to come up with one negative, it would be that the beach wasn't really swimmable (lots of seagrass), but the pool made made up for that. We would all highly recommend this property!

Paradise Island!

This was our family's 2nd stay at Little Harvest Caye, and we're already planning our 3rd! Pictures and words don't do justice to the island, the accommodations and the amazing staff. We felt welcomed from the first minute, and our time flew by. The staff were unfailingly kind and thoughtful, our meals were impeccable, and we never got tired of the island's natural beauty. We passed our days with epic games of cornhole & bocce, swimming, lounging in the many comfortable seating areas, and just enjoying the 360-degree views. It's the trip of a lifetime, and we can't wait to come back!

Little harvest caye

We love love love this little island. I can’t say enough about the staff they are top notch!!! The only negative I have is the parent company does not provide necessary equipment or funds to make necessary repairs. The poor staff struggle no lawn mower, ping pong table put together with duct tape, refrigerator is in disrepair. The cart for luggage has a homemade wood tire on it.

Still feeling the afterglow of this amazing trip! Let's begin with Evelyn and Heidy, the amazing ladies who managed our reservation - from the start they made every step of the process easy and always followed-up in a timely manner. We had several special requests that they accommodated flawlessly and we really appreciate the amount of coordination it took to make this trip stress free and enjoyable from beginning to end. Once we got to the island we were greeted by the amazing staff - we are blown away by the level of service we received day in and day out. Let's start with Ernesto: every meal was executed perfectly, all special requests were handled with professionalism, and every dish he prepared was beyond delicious. We really want to thank him for all the love he put into everything! Up next is our girl Kendra - so wonderful! She took such great care of us and always had our rooms looking neat and tidy - she's such a hard worker and a lovely person. Next, we have to give a big shoutout to Jorge! Whatever we needed he was our man. Whether it was suggestions about which restaurants to go to or making pina coladas by the pool he was always ready for our next question or request. He really made us feel welcome! Lastly, our valiant ferrymen, Michael and Jazz! It would not have been the same trip without these two - we were always met with the same kindness whether it was 6am or 1am. They really took care of us and we can't thank them enough! Until we meet again!

You Really Can’t Imagine…

We read the reviews, we all thought it would be amazing…we had high expectations. Hell, we even decided to have our very simple, no frills wedding ceremony on the beach. We were not prepared… No matter what you read about the island, the staff, the beauty…YOU WILL BE BLOWN AWAY. Think the island is gorgeous…it’s better. Think the staff will be friendly and accommodating…they will be your family. Think the food will be great…it’s phenomenal. There is not an expectation that you could have that LHC will not exceed. This was the trip and wedding of a lifetime. We opted for no wedding package, and yet the staff insisted on making it special for us in every way. Decor made by their own hands, a special feast to meet the culture of our crowd, we even convinced them to take a little break dance with us for a bit. To Kendra, Oscar, Michael, Jose, and even Kempton who came over to help w the wedding feast…we love you. We appreciate everything you did for us and the love and passion with which you did it. Kendra…we’re waiting for you in San Diego whenever you’re ready for a visit. Special shout-out to Heidy who dealt with my Type-A, ultra planning self, every day for almost 6 months. None of it would have happened without you. To all you potential LHC’ers. Don’t hesitate. Get 12 of you together, split the cost, and go spend a week unlike anything you can imagine. LHC…WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

Slice of heaven in Belize

Words cannot describe the perfection of LHC. Our family spent a week on the island, with ages ranging from 9 to 65. Every moment was sheer bliss. The views, the beautiful villas, the huge common area where we spent almost all of our time, the pool, the ocean etc. We did a couple of local excursions and almost daily trips to the mainland for ice cream, but mostly we wanted to just stay put on our island paradise. Michael, Jose, George & Kendra took incredible care of us, and they felt like family by the end of the week! Martha kept our villas squeaky clean and did extra laundry for our kids, and she couldn't have been nicer. We all agreed that this was the vacation of a lifetime--except that it is just too good to only do once in a lifetime, so we need to go back!

Perfect spot for our extended family of 11! We will be back!!!

Gorgeous island - we had the best family vacation! We stayed for 7 nights with my family, my brother's family & our parents and had a wonderful trip. We were picked up directly from the LHC dock for all of our excursions which was extremely convenient. And we thoroughly enjoyed our bookings with Captain Jak's. We arranged family photos on the island, with the help of the office and hopefully those turn out well (have not received them back yet). We used the LHC boat daily to get to Placencia for additional groceries and to shop in the cute town stores. The golf cart was perfect for those errands! Our staff was amazing - friendly, helpful, generous and genuine. Our concierge/main point of contact throughout our stay often jumped in to make us drinks or to fix any issues we were experiencing, without even being asked. We experienced a few "hiccups" as the communication with the office prior to our trip proved inaccurate upon our arrival, but we were able to smooth out most of the misunderstandings. We did have several picky eaters as well as one vegetarian on the trip and food was tricky for those. Our picky eaters often resorted to making macaroni and cheese or PB&J themselves as the menu alterations were not followed. But for the majority of our group, the chef prepared amazing meals! Seriously impressive, gourmet food! The rooms were gorgeous and the bathrooms amazing. I love the outdoor shower most of all!!! We saw very few insects or "wild" animals, though we expected to, given the open-air environment of the island. The a/c worked perfectly for us at night and we were very comfortable in our rooms. The wifi was reliable, though a bit spotty at times. But we were on vacation so it rarely mattered (except during the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving Day!). The island dog, Coco, is delightful and helped us miss our own pets a bit less. He can be a bit feisty though, so do let the staff know if you prefer he not be around your group at certain times. The main entertainment area is beautiful and well appointed. We did bring our own board games as well as a portable speaker - which we used a lot while we were on the beach. However, we all enjoyed the ping pong and pool tables, as well as cornhole. There is limited seating around the TV so be prepared to sit on bean bags or to pull over a chair from the dining table. My parents rarely moved from the comfy hanging chairs though...

Girls trip for my 50th, incredible from day one! The staff was the best part of our vacation. Our food was exquisite, beyond 5 star! Jose went above and beyond helping the girls learn to catch bait to fish. Those girls had him moving all week. Jose and Arion helped all week with every request. Ernesto WOW that man can make/create any food dish AND with all fresh handmade ingredients!! George came last days and he had culinary skills as well! Cindy meet all our wants and needs, she rocks!! They work as a team, all equal. Best experience we have ever had!

A truly special place and experience

We’ve traveled as a group for nearly a decade, and LHC ended up being a top notch fit for this group. The property itself was phenomenal and was everything we expected and more. Michael, Abel, Genesis and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Ernesto, the cook, deserves accolades and probably even some culinary awards. Never before on a 4 or 5 star resort have we eaten so well. Literally every single meal was both beautiful and delicious. The team seemed to have a second sense for when we needed anything, but also disappeared at the right times. Despite the islands size there was plenty for our group to do and keep ourselves entertained. We made a couple trips into town, had massages on site, an all day catamaran trip out to Laughing Bird Caye, and Covid testing on site on the way out—all expertly coordinated by the concierge and the LHC team. The cabins/rooms themselves were also top notch, very comfortable beds, nicely designed, along with open air bathrooms and showers in some.

From start to finish, this was an exceptional experience. The concierge was extremely helpful & guided us through the entire process. She accommodated any needs & changes, booked excursions & changed the domestic flight times with a simple text. The property was perfect. It accommodated four families that included five children all under the age of 5. Safe, clean & spacious. It’s perfectly set up for fun activities together and private space when needed. The only thing better than the property was the staff. Friendly & professional, good food & drinks, boat trips to Placentia upon request, they are what makes the entire experience Paradise.

Everything we hoped for and MORE!

Our stay on Little Harvest Caye was everything we imagined it would be and more. As with many people, this vacation was over two years in the making and we had very high expectations, and it met every one of of them. I don't know where to start... the staff are AMAZING! They catered to our every need and have such wonderful personalities. The food was outstanding. Oscar, the chef, is very talented. When they say he makes everything from scratch, they really mean it... scratch made pasta, bread for toast, buns for burgers, tortillas, syrup, fried jacks, salsas, etc. We were very impressed with EVERY meal we had. The rest of the crew (Able, Michael, Elden, and Cindy) were also amazing! The grounds are well kept and clean. The common area is an awesome place to hangout. Heidi from Gecko vacation is OUTSTANDING! She answered all our questions with pleasure and made sure everything we asked to do was planned out perfectly. This was a trip of a lifetime!! We are determined to rebook again in the near future and can hardly wait to go again!
