  • La casa colibrí fue construido en Placencia Caye una isla caribeña para disfrutar de la relajante brisa del océano y vistas serenas. Está convenientemente ubicado a 3 minutos en barco desde el centro de Placencia Village. WIFI gratuito y transporte en barco entre la casa y el pueblo se proporciona 24/7 para los huéspedes.     La casa Hummingbird es grande, totalmente amueblada, 3 dormitorios-2. 5 baños. Su diseño elegante y moderno cuenta con varias maderas de Belice y un amplio plan de piso. La entrada conduce a un vestíbulo luminoso, baño y un gran patio cubierto, una siesta perfecta en la sombra. Una escalera curva le lleva a la sala de estar de arriba donde se encuentran con techos altos vistas al mar. El océano frente a las paredes interiores están construidos de altos paneles de vidrio deslizante y se puede abrir para ampliar la zona de vida fuera y permitir una brisa de enfriamiento. El balcón envuelve la casa, proporcionando impresionantes vistas sobre los exuberantes cocoteros. La cocina está totalmente equipada y el comedor y el salón están amueblados con puertas de madera, ventanas, muebles y muebles de madera artesanales. Excellent property and host. Edwin and his family were great- loved them all. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The sea breeze was wonderful in the evenings. Bring plenty of bug spray and sunscreen. No AC but that is part of the experience.

Hummingbird House was an excellent home base for our Placencia stay in April of 2026. The house is even more beautiful than the online pics! We had lazy days where we just enjoyed lounging at the house and a few adventure days that make Belize so amazing to visit. The house was perfect!

This house is an amazing experience. The property is on a beautiful Caye just off the main pier of Placencia. Edwin the caretaker and family are delightful, super responsive to any request (including ferrying to and fro to the village), and their young puppy Odi is gorgeous!The house is stunning with private dock (great for swimming), SUPs and canoes. The living spaces are incredible - fantastic high vaulted ceilings, great kitchen, spacious outdoor balconies and incredible views over the water. Heading back to the house on the moonlit water after an evening out in Placencia is a wonderful experience. Very highly recommended!!

Edwin was responsive :). Home beautiful, kids loved fishing off the dock with the fishing pole they brought with them.I do wish there had been a wash machine.

Our second year in a row and already booked next year. The house is exactly as described. The pictures don’t do the west facing sunset views justice. Edwin (caretaker) and his family are great. Highly recommend just don’t take our week.

Edwin and family were very sweet and attentive as needed. Great layout for the house and really enjoyed the large covered outdoor area. The outdoor shower off the master bedroom was thoroughly enjoyed after a long day on and in the water. For those wishing to kick back and relax, Hummingbird is a place you will enjoy just a very short boat ride from Placencia pier.

The caretaker and his family were lovely! The property is beautiful, but could use some deep cleaning (dirty light switches, grimy doors where people’s hands have been). We saw some bugs, which is to be expected in a home that is always open to the outdoors. Amazing location.

No complaints about the hummingbird house — it’s a lovely home and Edwin and his family are great people. We had an excellent time and would recommend to anyone looking for a spot in placencia that feels a little separate from the busyness of town!

Beautiful home in idyllic setting

Hummingbird House is simply stunning with open plan living and ample space for socialising. The views are spectacular and Edwin, the caretaker, is very helpful and informative and boat trips to the beach and to the mainland for dinner makes the stay even more special.

Amazing stay

My husband and I stayed here for about a week. The property is exactly as described. Beautiful views and amazing property. Edwin was super helpful and great to have bringing us back and forth from the island.

Perfect Paradise

The house is as advertised, large, spacious and beautiful. It is on Placencia Caye but the caretaker, Edwin, is always available to take you to the main pier. The house is fun with some quirky features like the outdoor shower off the master bedroom. All in all it’s terrific and we will stay here again.

The house was even more beautiful in person, and we found our time so restful. Beautiful views, loved sitting out on the dock/pier, taking the kayaks and paddle boards out, and the host Edwin and his family are very sweet and very helpful. We loved our time at the Hummingbird house!! God bless!!

Great stay!

This was a great place! Tom was very responsive when I had a question. Edwin, the property manager, and his family were delightful and he always responded quickly when we needed a ride. The view from the upper deck was too perfect. It is a perfect place to unwind and relax. In fact we are coming back next year!

Amazing stay

The house keeper (Edwin and family) was amazing and was always there to help as needed and to get us to the village at any time. It’s a must experience. Beautiful home!! Nothing like it in the Stan creek district.

Nothing Ho-hum About Hummingbird House

From the moment we were greeted at the municipal pier by Edwin & his wife, until we said our goodbyes, our entire stay was wonderful! The house is gorgeous with huge, expansive views, both front and back, of water, boats, and the village. We loved floating, swimming, and paddleboarding off the dock, where we saw tons of ocean life! The entire stay was like a dream, and Edwin & family helped us in every way to enjoy our stay in Placencia.
