First and foremost, let me say that overall this place is excellent. You will not regret staying here as it's beautiful.That being said, here are the things you need to know if you're considering booking this home:- Home is 30 minutes from Placencia by car. Book a rental car (NOT a golf cart) if you plan on spending a lot of time in or out of town (Leo). 40-50 mins to town by golf cart, 1 way.- Leo and Christine are awesome and can hook you up with almost anything you're looking for. Lean on their expertise and guidance in preparing for and during your trip.- Rooftop patio and outdoor balcony eating area are legit. Most of our meals were spent there enjoying the sound of the ocean and scenery. That being said, the stairs to the rooftop are narrow and somewhat treacherous. We made a "one drink" rule for up there.- Beach is well-maintained and good for sunbathing and recreation of all kinds. Sandy bottom with some turtle grass that's soft on your feet.- Had no problem brushing teeth or washing dishes, food, or anything else in tap water. No digestive issues.- Songbirds and sunrise will wake up whoever is sleeping in the master bedroom at 5:30 am every morning.- Pool was clean but much too cold to enjoy comfortably for any length of time. High of 82 F while we were there.- Placencia is not built up, however there are enough tourists here that infrastructure exists to accommodate you as a guest. Good balance of local culture and modern conveniences.Enjoy!!

Had a comfortable, relaxing stay. The host was helpful with information on excursions, etc. The pool is refreshing since it is out of the hot sun. We used Leo, the house manager for our drives and excursions and we were very pleased with his staff. We recommend this home for your stay in Placencia.

Everything was great! We used the paddleboards, kayaks, and the bikes. Great location, pool and deck was perfect for our family of 4 and the rooftop deck was amazing for looking at the stars at night.

Location was amazing with our own private beach and pool yet a short drive from the more popular areas including Maya Beach and Placencia Village (about 25 minutes drive with sleeping policemen factored in). The kitchen seemed well-equipped although we mostly ate out (or enjoyed snacks and leftovers). Really loved our time in Belize. Dinners at Maya Beach Bistro were amazing as was our special Valentines dinner at Sterling’s. We loved afternoons at Barefoot Beach Bar and I would be remiss without mentioning The Flying Pig that we thankfully discovered in time to enjoy the Super Bowl. We feel like the stars aligned when we happened to find this place available for a perfect week (for us) in February. If it shows up as available for you, jump on the chance to make Casa de la Vista your home in Belize. An amazing experience for sure and thanks to Christine for sharing this property and keeping it up so well!
We spent a few afternoons just in the beach, in the pool and relaxing in the shade.

This properly is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. Christine you have one beautiful home here.The property manager, Leo was on top of every adventure we wanted to do. Every day we did something new. The property is located perfectly. Where shopping ,restaurants, grocery store are very easy to get to with just a short car ride maybe a couple minutes only. We are already planning our next trip back to the same house beautifully located on the Caribbean Sea.. Christina thank you for letting my wife and I stay at your place. We had a wonderful time and we can’t wait to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa de la Vista. The house was exactly as described—beautifully maintained, amazing views and containing everything we needed for our stay. The pictures don't do it justice - the beach is even more exceptional in person!What really made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality from Christine, Leo and team. They were incredibly responsive, provided great recommendations and went above and beyond in every way. They took such great care of us during our visit, even ensuring the beach and sand were cleaned daily. Their attention to detail exceeded anything I could have imagined.We loved our time here and sincerely hope to return many more times. It was the perfect home for a family vacation, and I can’t recommend it enough.Note: for those traveling with infants, you'll need to take precautions as the house isn't necessarily toddler-proofed (although they even had a pack n play ready for us!). But we expected that and came prepared / paid extra close attention to our toddler when they were outside and by the stairs. We had no issues and our young children loved it as much as we did!

Absolutely a beautiful property and AS ADVERTISED! The location is key- close enough to many great restaurants and bars but far enough for the seclusion we desired for our honeymoon. We used it all: kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and all were in good working order. This house really was everything you need in Placencia. Kitchen is fully equipped. We had an in-home chef make a meal one night and they were able to do it all without needing to bring anything but the food. The AC blows cold, deck views are amazing, and bonus of having a smart TV helped with our quiet nights listening to the rain. This house has it all. I would stay again without question. It’s the best place to stay in Placencia, especially for the price and location. In fact we drove by two other properties we had considered to compare and were SO GLAD we went with this home.

The perfect Belizean getaway! This home is beautifully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay near Placencia. The owner’s communication was excellent, and Leo, the property manager, and his staff went above and beyond—whether it was arranging tours or helping us with bikes, they were always there to assist. The perfect location

Casa de la Vista is situated just outside of Maya Beach in a relatively quiet part of Placencia. It is close to several good restaurants, and getting to the local towns is super-easy.The house is perfect for families (we are a family of 5, including 3 teenage boys). Easy access to the beach, nice pool, plenty of space to relax.Beautiful area. Great vacation property.

Rejuvenated

Everything was as it was said to be. The location was close enough to town but far enough away. The owner has thought of everything. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board everyday. We went to the waterfalls, mayan ruins and even cave tubing. There were quite a few options for meals if you didn't feel like cooking. Thank you for a lovely adventure. We will definitely try and come back.everyday

2 weeks in Paradise

We stayed here for the second year in a row and enjoyed it even more than the first time. We love the location and proximity to some great restaurants and bars. We also enjoyed grilling and eating at the home. The view is spectacular and never gets old.

We enjoyed sitting on the veranda every night playing cards. The view from this home is amazing! The house was equipped with everything we needed. We had a couple small issues but I told Christine about them and she was very responsive. Loved the waterfalls, snorkeling and highly recommend goingTo King Louies Island.

Beautiful property with stunning view’s PARADISE

This was 50th birthday trip. The property is clean very spacious and well equipped for cooking in home. However, the food around the area was delicious. Leo the property manager on site made all of our reservations for ruins, fishing, and what ever else we requested. We caught red snapper and snook then Leo had 2 wonderful ladies come prepare it at the house for my birthday dinner. Highly recommend this property
