Similar experience like the other reviews you've seen here, mostly positive. Pluses - the host has been very quick and communicative, good location to my workplace in downtown and restaurants, river view, large space compared to a hotel room, laundry inside unit. Minor quibbles - there isn't a table that you can sit down and have a meal (not all the pictures on the listing are in unit, some are the amenities in the building, but you'll go to different floors), and neighbors can be noisy at times. In short, if you're going to downtown Pittsburgh and don't plan on cooking/getting takeouts, this is probably a better choice than the hotels.

The space was spotless, well‑maintained, and had every amenity I needed for a comfortable visit. Check‑in and check‑out were incredibly easy, which made the whole experience stress‑free. The parking deck being right next to the unit was a huge bonus and made coming and going super convenient. I visited Pittsburgh for a dance convention and I’m glad I stayed here than at the hotel where the convention took place.

The host was definitely inattentive. My daughter was placed in a potentially perilous situation. The management company, ‘Envitae’, assured me that there would be a night valet present to let my daughter in the building (just to be safe, I checked with them twice). Well, there was no night valet to be found, not only upon her arrival, but the entire time during our 5-day stay. A tenant subsequently informed us that the night valet position was completely eliminated a week prior to our arrival. It would have left my daughter, plus her luggage, stranded outside, and thus in an unsafe situation, if her driver from the airport was not a personal friend of mine. He waited for 45 minutes for someone to walk out the door so that he could escort my daughter inside the building safely.Our Envitae contact acknowledged reception of my email of complaint, but, disappointingly, did not follow up with me at all from there. There were also a number of other issues that all pointed towards a lack of proper standard care of the apartment (eg. numerous mold spots on the guest bathroom ceiling, poop stain near master bath toilet, damaged window blinds in one window, and a sticking guest bath faucet when turned up all the way).Needless to say, I’m extremely upset about the entire situation. This also reflects very badly on VRBO. You guys should be on top of those who are listing on your site. Primarily that which involves potential safety issues.

Beautiful views. Nice and cozy with lots of room. Booking was quite a hassle. I had to complete a verification process, send pictures of my ID and credit card, respond to a litany of emails in a timely fashion, and answer invasive questions about why I was in town, the names of each guest, and when I plan to arrive exactly.

Not quite as nice as expected

The view was great. The furnishings were a little sparse. No kitchen table and not enough seating. Only a sofa and one chair. A chair in either bedroom would have been nice. Very little counter space in the bathrooms. The water was turned off the first night but the property management was very responsive and it was restored in only 15 minutes after I reported it. The TV in the gym didn't work but once I suggested it might be dead batteries in the remote it was fixed. Roku TV was a pain but that could just be personal preference. The valets were excellent. Much appreciated on the freezing weather. Property management was very responsive to any questions or complaints. They also refunded a portion of the parking fees for the days we did not use the valet parking (had to check in a day late and leave a day early). That was a nice gesture and much appreciated. Overall the property management and building staff were great. The property itself could be improved with some attention to how it's furnished.would have been nice.

Great location - Clean

Very nicely located in the heart of downtown Pitt. Easy to get around. Valet parking was easy and friendly, unit was nice and clean and comfortable with a great view of just about everything worth seeing.

Great view, great location for us

Other than the odd quirk of not being able to pull up the window blinds (which are encased in the windows) this location was perfect for our weekend. To be clear, the blinds open, they just can't be raised for an unencumbered view. Valet was very friendly and helpful. Location was good for the Point and nearby restaurants, beds super comfy, amenities perfect for us.
