Beautiful property and neighborhood with welcoming neighbors. Tons of resturants, bars, shops, and entertainment with in walking distance. The kitchen is top notch everything you would need. The common spaces are large enough to gather but each level allows for privacy as well. Each bathroom was stocked with soaps and linnens even qtips & lotions.Host is very responsive. Simple check in/out. We will be back!

Hello Everyone - Pros: - The property is beautiful, clean and well-decorated, very big bedrooms and closet spaces. - Right behind all of the bars and restaurants on Carson St., and a few blocks from Primanti Brothers' Carson St. location. - Obtaining a parking permit for street parking was very easy. - Communications with Rental Company were great. - The two back bedrooms were quiet (the front two bedrooms were noisy.)Cons:- Only 1 set of towels (medium and small) provided on the bed, two sets on each bed, and no extra towels found anywhere. Imho, not enough towels for longer stay.- Only the primary bathroom on the 1st floor had a hair dryer. - The two front bedrooms were noisy (the two back bedrooms were quiet). Overall, a very good stay!

The property is fantastic! We had a friend reunion and the property was perfect. Great layout and design for our group. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The location in the Southside was great for proximity to Carson Street and getting around the city easily. Parking was no problem. With that said, I the South Side definitely has a less safe feel overall than I remember but we had no issues personally. I just wouldn’t walk around by myself at night, nothing reflective of the safety of the property.

The only issues we had were with the temperature difference in the first floor and the upstairs and the uncomfortable living room furniture. The second floor remained 7 or 8 hotter than the first floor. We had to use a box fan next to the AC register upstairs to help with the airflow of cool air. The living room furniture is modern and stylish but not very comfortable, the couch and chairs seem more fitted for a waiting room than a living room.The house is in a great location, you can find almost anything that you to do within walking distance.

Great Stay

We had a great stay at Carson St Manor. This was our second stay (4 adults) and the house has become our rental of choice for stays in Pittsburgh while visiting family. It is a great, central location for easily getting around various parts of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and management listened to our comments from our last stay and improved the minor inconveniences we mentioned last year. Obtaining the digital parking pass was easy and quick, all done online, the parking is street parking. All appliances worked well, the house was clean, and communication with management was quick and efficient, both before our stay and during (we had an issue, on our end it appears, with getting in the house when we first arrived, but it was remedied in minutes. The house is well equipped with amenities and the departure rules are reasonable and easy, unlike many other houses we have rented. It was great to be that close to Carson St making it easy and quick to get to various restaurants, cafes and other places, without having to drive everywhere. We never used the outdoor space or the 3rd floor, but both looked very inviting and comfortable. It was great having several bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, with one on the first floor, great for anyone with limited mobility. The half bath on the first floor was a great convenience too. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute in Carson St. Manor! Highly recommend it!

Great for Bachelor Parties… Families Beware

This VRBO is a beautifully updated, three-story row home that smartly uses its space and doesn’t share walls, something we appreciated. The interior was clean, well-appointed, and the check-in process was seamless.However, a few major issues impacted our stay:Noise & Sleep: By our second night (a Friday), it became clear this wasn’t the best choice for a family stay. The unit is located about 50 feet from a busy nightlife area, and the music and crowd noise from the clubs lasted from 9:00p. to 2:00a, even on Thursday. While the listing notes there may be noise “at times,” our experience felt more like sleeping on the dance floor. Noise-cancelling headphones are a must if you’re trying to get rest.Safety Concerns: Unfortunately, the night before we left, there was a shooting about 50 yards from the property. Adding to that, our family car—parked on the street—was involved in a hit-and-run during the chaos. Throughout our stay, we also witnessed clubgoers urinating near the front stoop and leaning on our vehicle as they waited in line.Final Thoughts: This place would be a great pick for bachelor parties, or anyone looking to enjoy Pittsburgh’s nightlife and crash afterward, ideally without a car. But for families or those seeking a quiet, restful stay, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.To the host: Please consider updating the listing to more accurately reflect the noise level. It’s not just “at times”—it’s every night the clubs are active.

Great house

The house was exactly as listed and we loved it. The host was great when it came to communication, too. There was way more space than expected inside and as two families of 4 we definitely all had space. Outside was super nice as well. We will definitely use this house again when visiting the area
