Communication with host was fantastic. He was very nice and very fast to respond even when I felt like it was very late, he was responsive. Location was good, however, it is located in a very small alley with no parking, with the big truck it did get pretty tricky at times. The house itself...a bit quirky since the location was built in 1900. The living space right when you open the door is very cute...the hexagon tiles as photographed are not there. The stairs both entering the house and inside between 4 levels are very step, broken, and can be unsafe if not cautious. The basement is unfinished with very low ceilings causing me, even at 5'4" , to bend over. The kitchen was not exactly well stocked. No can opener, no peeler, no baking sheets. I did have to rewash dishes before using them since there was food residue on practically every single item. The ac unit was still leaning out of the window with a gap causing a draft in the winter month. But it was very cute and had a very cozy feeling. The bedrooms were nice with ample pillows. Whoever the cleaning service is needs to do a bit better since there was still a lot of debris under the beds. The bathroom had a little travel kit with some amenities and lots of towels. The water is very harsh and opaque. Cost was good considering the very central location. You truly aren't far from anything. If cleanliness improved, I'd stay there again.
