Best Location & Neighborhood (2.5 to Downtown PGH)

  • Walking distance to various restaurant & bars, as well as to a pool hall, movie theater, and break out room. 3 minute drive or 10 minute transit trolley ride to the city for Heinz field, PNC park and museums! You’ll love my place because of convenience, the comfy beds, the high ceilings, the kitchen, the coziness. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
    We do provide cable and wifi access. The apartment is located on the 2nd and third floor. There is a completely separate apartment on the first floor. The only common area is the front door and the laundry room.

This property was excellent. Lots of upgrades and a really nice space inside. There are two levels with the upper level being a private bedroom (loft type). Kitchen was stocked with what you need to cook and coffee pods and all of the needed dishes and cookware to cook our meals. The area is lovely and has coffee shops, breakfast and burgers/pizza. The only issue we had was the market nearby was international and not what we were looking for and there was an Aldi about a mile away. Highly recommended all around. Hosts communicated to any questions I had within minutes.

Absolutely phenomenal location and host! The house is perfect, in a fun, terrific neighborhood and the local community offers a ton of bars and restaurants within walking distance. It’s also very convenient to downtown and all the local attractions that a great city like Pittsburgh has to offer. We plan on visiting Pitt again this summer and would love to stay at this location every time we come to town. You can’t go wrong with this location and the great host!

The apartment had everything needed for a weekend. It is in the best location for both Pittsburgh and the Dormont Area. Only a 15 minute drive to the heart of Pittsburgh!

Great spot!

While we only stayed the weekend, we had a great stay. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. The restaurants, etc close by were great too.

coming home.

We were coming back home to visit family and wanted something better than a hotel room. We found this property and it was right in the middle of everything we needed to do the whole process went smoothly and contributed to having a great vacation.

Great Dormont Location

Great location, very comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to a very quaint, old historic district type main strip in the neighborhood with coffee shops, restaurants, antique shops, billiards, etc... Great place! Responsive Host!

Spacious and beautiful

The apartment is large and welcoming. I was visiting family in Dormont and we all enjoyed dinner together in the eat-in kitchen. The apartment is one block from excellent restaurants and just blocks from the Red Line light rail. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this lovely home. Thank you to the hosts, Krista and Russell, who are both so friendly and responsive.

Pittsburgh Weekend Visit

This homestay suited my family's needs during a long weekend visit. It is within a quiet neighborhood. Dining places within walking distance and grocery stores close by. We loved that the drive to the city was easy and quick.
