Great stay overall! Chad was an excellent host—very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the trip. The property itself is beautifully renovated, clean, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The surrounding area is a bit more rundown than expected, but once inside, the space really stands out and feels like a great find.One thing to note: access involves some steep stairs, so it may not be ideal if you’re traveling with a lot of bags or have mobility concerns.Overall, we had a really positive experience!

Easy check in. Very cute house with everything a small group needs for a quick stay. Comfortable beds, TVs and plenty of space to retreat after a long day. Highly recommend!

Very clean throughout. Nice setup that allows privacy within the same property. Our 14yo took over the lower floor , which has its own bathroom and kitchenette. 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms and full bathroom and kitchen. This is a great newly remodeled housen but it is onan older / less "kept" street having said that- we never felt unsafe at all and we had no issues. Never an issue with parking - there were always multiple spots available on the street right in front of the property. One thing to mention if traveling with older guests, there is a decent set of stairs to get from street to front door, and stairs from the basement apartment to the upstairs are pretty steep with a low ceiling. Note that this is very common in houses for pittsburgh and we had no problems at all, but my elderly parents would have found it difficult to navigate. These are just very minor issues - overall its a great place. Communication with host was amazing, they always responded to messages within a few minutes. We had a great stay, and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when the opportunity arises.

Really cute place. My friend and I spent 3 days to visit my daughter who is at PITT. Everything was new and clean! Nice having 2 living spaces and 2 kitchen areas. Beds were comfy as well. Owner was wonderful with communication and responded quickly. Neighborhood looked a little shady but I felt very safe and it was just 2 women staying there. Only suggestion would be that the couch areas be a little bigger/comfortable. However I would definitely stay there again.

Great quiet spot on edge of college area

We were there with our two adult kids for our daughter's graduation from Pitt. All was as advertised and the house was very conveniently located for all activities. Chad was always available to answer questions and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely space!

This is a lovely space! We used both spaces, the 1br with kitchenette downstairs and the 2br with full kitchen up. Having 2 bathrooms is convenient! The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cooking gear. The space is immaculate. There is nothing but residential in the neighborhood and no place you'd want to walk to, except the bus stop, so drive or take the bus from here.

Property was eclectic and very clean - newly renovated. Beds were very comfortable and amenities top notch - loved the coffee set up. Kitchen nicely stocked. Layout perfect for everyone to have privacy. Neighborhood was safe but a little rundown. Would definitely stay there again.

City stay with nature touch

Clean and well stocked. Only 10 min from strip and downtown most neighborhoods and attraction within 30 min drive. Woke up to wild turkeys in yard and deer. Situated on hill enjoyed watching fog receed from city in am. Not very walkable. Must be able to handle some stairs. Road steep in this area

Great stay

we were in for Pitt spring graduation and found this listing late in the game and what a wonderful find. Pictures may be a little confusing on line but it is a two level (stairs connecting inside) with one bedroom taking the bottom floor with its own bathroom, fridge, tv area and the upstairs having the full living/kitchen area, the other 2 bedrooms (one with single bed) and bathroom. it was very clean and had a cool vibe to it. Family who stopped by thought it was a great place as well. surrounding area from the university to the house may look a little sketchy but we never felt unsafe. there is a very friendly coffee shop we walked to one morning. its really a great location that is very close to Pitt (drivable 5 min), close to strip district, and very easy to get downtown. There is plenty of on street parking. Chad our host was very easy to communicate with. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would stay there again.

This house is a whole vibe!

This was by far the best experience I have ever had booking with VRBO. The trip was planned last minute and boy did we luck out finding this gem! First of all booking and communication was a breeze- they even offered an early check in which was really convenient t especially when going on a short trip’ and want to get in your vibe as early as possible! It is definitely a standout home on the street I do t want to say anything negative because overall the home is fabulous!! but i was a little nervous cause the surrounding home were not the same level. however, once you open the door you are immediately drawn into this home. The decor and vibe is so perfect it’s spacious and feels homey but also on trend and fun! My daughters couldn’t wait to post pics as it is definitely instagram worthy! it had everything guests could want or need!! these hosts paid attention to every detail and it shows perfectly curated decor fully stocked everything the look the feel the amenities top notch! highly recommend this place !

Not the best area, but overall very pleasant

Very clean and organized. Very nice layout and all pictures do a great job of detailing the actual layout of the rental. The rental kinda sits out in the area and is by far the nicest home on the block. Was a bit worried at first about the area, but after speaking with the locals my fears were resolved. Overall its a very nice, reasonably priced rental with a great owner who clearer cares about his property and guests. No major complaints at all. Would stay here again! Thanks for being so easy to reach Chad!

Great privacy and accommodations for separate coworkers!

Very clean , quiet , plenty of parking! The property is set up great for 2 people to have complete separate accommodations to conduct business calls and have privacy to relax! Each floor has kitchen and all necessities to be very comfortable. The design and decor is fun and unique very creative and well done to utilize all available space!
