Much needed getaway
The property was nice and relaxing. Stayed with my parents and brother. The beds were cozy and we enjoyed playing cornhole on the deck. The hostess was very helpful and sweet. We had some hang ups with the gate but that wasn't too bad. I honestly didn't want to leave.

Family Summer getaway
Great location on the lake and phenomenal fishing spot! The rooms were perfect for what our family needed and A/C worked great in this Texas heat! Great memories were made!

Remote lakehouse with private dock
The lakehouse was nice for a short, casual getaway. Outdoor furniture could have been cleaner. Lake access was a plus. It's a short distance to the Lake Sandlin State Park (recommended!) but a drive to get to stores/restaurants.

We had a nice easy stay. Great lake views and plenty of room to stread out. Bring your own coffee pods and would be helpful if a light was left on outside if guest arriving after dark.

The property is nicely remodled. We enjoyed the views from every window, on the stormy day as well as the sun drenched day. Nice path to the dock. We enjoyed eating at the bar/island counter. The location was near the state park where we love to hike. We caught fish and enjoyed our time at the lake. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to return in the future!

A perfect respite
Thank you for letting us stay in your charming, comfortable lake house. It was exactly what we needed. Beautiful lake and other natural surroundings. We saw several deer in the nearby trees each morning, along with a stunning large blue heron wading near the banks of the lake. The house was well-stocked and had comfortable beds and bedding. It was so wonderfully quiet for restful nights of sleep. Thanks again!

Peaceful getaway
Nice quiet getaway lake house. Birds everywhere. We sat on the dock under a cloudless, moonless night and could see the Milky Way and the moons of Jupiter! Our only suggestion would be the addition of lamps in the bedrooms and some end tables in the living area so you have somewhere to put your drink when watching tv.

Peaceful stay
The property is beautiful and bedding is extremely comfortable. It was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Caught some fishes at the pier and we also did s’mores with the family. My only complaint was the lighting in kitchen/dining area. Overall, it was our first experience and we had so much fun! We will most likely come back again!

Perfect for our weekend away
The lake house had everything that we needed for a quiet weekend away! We enjoyed cooking on the grill, eating outside, and non-stop corn hole. The kids loved running off the end of the pier and running with our dog in the big yard. I loved reading in the hammock. Thanks for having us— we had a great time!

Million Dollar View
We wanted a quick family get away for Spring break and this was perfect. Everything was clean and updated with comfortable furniture and beds. The home was well stocked with everything you need. You could see beautiful views of the lake out of every window. The outdoor space is what really made us love it. There were tons of outdoor furniture, a TV, a grill, fire pit, and a nice pier over the lake. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great except the washer was dirty and leaked a little. I would have raked the leaves if I owned property but other than that it was nice. Would rent again for sure!

The view of the lake was beautiful. The inside was nice and nicely decorated besides some exceptions. The bedrooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to cook. The open concept of the house made it very spacious. However, we were disappointed of the cleanliness of the patio and furniture. It could of been cleaned before we got there. Guests should not have to clean it to utilize it. There was some residue in the master bath toilet. Couch and loveseat was stained. There was dog hair and it had a pet odor in the living room/dining area. Wood should have been provided or advised you need to bring your own for the fire pit. Overall, it was still a nice stay for our first lake house getaway.

Amazing family weekend
We stayed with our family and friends this weekend. It was so much fun! We brought our jet skis and enjoyed time on the lake. At night we grilled out and watched football on the porch. It was such a great weekend! The house was perfect for a nice getaway!

Awesome lake house
We loved staying at this property! Super easy check-in process, and the home was clean upon arrival. Home was very nicely decorated and comfortable with plenty of space for a fun week at the lake. Great location on Bob Sandlin; home is set within a small cove on the lake, which made it nice for swimming and fishing. No boat ramp on the property, but we had no issue loading our kayaks in the water from the bank. One recommendation is to bring some kitchen essentials, such as k-cups, spices, cooking oil, etc. Additionally, to those unfamiliar with the area: mosquitoes, gnats, wasps, tree spiders, ants, etc. are typical for the area; come prepared with bug spray! Overall, it was an awesome trip, and we are looking forward to staying again!

Enjoyed our stay. The inside was clean & comfortable. The outside needed some work: on the outdoor furniture the cushions were dirty and they weren’t set out and ready for use plus there were several cushions missing for the back patio set, the porch needed a good sweeping plus there were cobwebs everywhere. We did notify Jennifer about the missing cushions and she had the housekeeper bring out cushions the next day which made a huge difference in our stay. We were appreciative of Jennifer getting cushions brought out so we could enjoy our time outside. It really is a lovely area. Overall we had a good experience.

Loved the property
This was a great experience! No hassles at all and the access to the water is perfect! Things were provided that we have never had before such as laundry detergent, paper towels, regular towels and cleaning supplies! My only complaint is the sliding door doesn’t work great but we managed just fine! Lots of outdoor seating! We highly recommend this property!

Great Lake Getaway
Unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there, except for the last day that was nice. We wish we could’ve enjoyed the deck, but we were stuck inside most of the time. The house was nice and the beds and couch comfortable. The only turn off was that the deck was covered in twigs, leaves, and bugs but that may have been because of the storms. It was also hard to unload/load the car as there is no driveway and everything was very muddy. Again, this probably wouldn’t have been an issue without all the rain. The only other semi-negative was the neighboring property is an RV campground that a large group with several campers were using. We had no issues with them as they were nice, but the campers blocked a lot of the lake view on that side of the house that you see in the pictures. Overall, it was a great little lake house away from everything perfect for our family getaway. It had everything we needed, and the only negatives were things out of our and the host’s control.

Relaxing week.
We rented this house for the week after our son’s wedding. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the dock for fishing even though we didn’t catch much. The house is decorated so cute. I hope we can rent it again sometime soon.

Peaceful retreat
Beautiful lake view property with a dock in a secluded cove. Huge deck with several sitting for various activities (outdoor tv, gas fire-pit, dining). Interior was well appointed and very clean. I loved the coziness and color scheme. We felt at home! The weather didn’t collaborate with us during our Spring Break, but Jennifer was very helpful. Thank you.

Great getaway
It is a great getaway. Don't plan on going down there and watching TV, playing on the internet, etc. Enjoy the surroundings. No people living on either side so it was nice to let he dogs run, and plenty of space. Very nice house and upkept well. It's a tad confusing when pulling up, but didn't take a ton of effort to figure out. I would highly recommend fot those that want to unplug. No WiFi as many have said so no streaming, internet, etc. unless you are going off cell service. Right on the lake for fishing or whatever.

Very Nice, Clean, and Comfortable Lake Home
The perfect space for a relaxing weekend, we especially appreciated that the beds were not an uncomfortable afterthought. Instead, they furnished nice bedding and mattresses. The combined living, dining, and kitchen area is very spacious. We would definitely return.
