Lawned garden with decking and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking!. Enjoying a peaceful setting within the picturesque village of Blair Atholl, Wee Ben has been furnished and equipped to a good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible, and it makes a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. Set in the unspoilt heart of Perthshire, Blair Atholl, boasts a number of amenities including the spectacular Blair Castle (the only castle protected by the last private army in the United Kingdom) and the Atholl Country Life Museum, and a working watermill with a cafe. All well worth visiting. Explore the surrounding Glen Tilt and the nearby town of Pitlochry, which hosts the Festival Theatre and The Enchanted Forest, where you can experience spectacular imagery, music and lighting effects of the forest at night. Visit nearby Killiecrankie, where you can stroll through woodland and experience the wonderful scenery of The Pass and the Soldiers Leap. Amongst the many activities available, are mountain bike trails, white water rafting, walking, climbing, golf, fishing, and watersports on nearby Loch Faskally, with bungee jumping and zip line also available for the brave! For the less energetic, sit back and relax in this cosy lodge and watch the abundance of birdlife which can be seen in the garden.

This beautiful cottage has everything that a family needs for a few days holiday.

This beautiful cottage has everything that a family needs for a few days holiday. The kitchen and bathroom is well equipped, the cottage is super clean and the garden is nicely maintained. Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. In the village there are a few shops and bakery and restaurants, so can’t complain. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend.

Perfect

The owners did as much as possible to ensure safety in the current circumstances. The cottage is perfect and is ideally situated to explore the delights of the Highlands. We fully intend and have no hesitation in saying we shall return to Wee Ben.

The cottage itself was spotless, and well furnished/equipped, even taking in the restrictions brought about by Covid. The owners are to be commended for the E-Mail they sent prior to the booking date. This detailed what measures they had taken in relation to Covid, and advised on what steps they would appreciate the customer to take during their stay, and on departure. The Wee Ben was the perfect getaway for my partner, myself and our dog. Greeted by owner on arrival which was a nice touch. Accommodation was well laid out and has everything you need and nice size garden. It is well located for those that like the outdoors or just to relax. Only rated amenities 9/10 due to local shops being more like corner shops, but short trip to Pitlochry for better amenities. Would put Wee Ben on the list for a return holiday in the future. This was our second visit to Wee Ben and I doubt it will be the last.

This was our second visit to Wee Ben and I doubt it will be the last. Although pretty compact it has everything you could want for a comfortable holiday. Fantastic location in Blair Atholl with lovely walks from the doorstep. A lovely enclosed garden with deck. A handy Spar shop just round the corner and a brilliant pub serving great food just a short walk away. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Great welcome package.
