Beautiful view; very nice accommodations. Only negative was that we were unable to use the gas grill ; the grill needs a good cleaning and the replacement of several internal parts, like the burner covers.

Great view

This property was beautiful. Amazing views and wildlife around the house. It is extremely clean and well spaced out for multiple couples. Great communication with owner. We highly recommend this property.

The manager was readily available when we couldn’t get in the first night. The beds were very comfy!! The space was great and my always-cold adult daughter was so happy with the gas fireplace. I’ll be sending an email to the manager to let her know of some issues. The only safety one was that the smoke detector in the twin room had fallen to the floor and once picked up didn’t work. The teens that stayed there said the solar batteries made noise during the night that woke them out up.

WONDERFUL weekend getaway!!

The house is beautiful with a INCREDIBLE view off the back porch! I also have to note that it was IMMACULATE as the hosts paid extra attention to cleaning detail! The only thing that I’d suggest is to take down or fix the planter box on the back porch as it’s falling apart but this home is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and very spacious!! We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Enjoyed Our Stay

The house was very nice and the view from the deck was amazing. Enjoyed watching the sunsets. We only had a few minor issues and they were addressed and resolved quickly by a friendly staff. The communication was excellent - from the check-in process to everything else. Would stay there again.

Breathtaking Home

This is a beautiful, serene home with a spectacular view! The location is perfect--within 15-30 minutes of MANY forest hiking trails and water falls. There are several different spaces (inside and out) to sit quietly, alone, or enjoy quality time with family. The owners thought of every detail. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

Cousins reunion

5 cousins reuniting after 10 yrs separation. House was awesome we had such a great time. However we never really din anything but talk, talk talk, eat and enjoy each other. There are lots of stairs but one really nice bedroom and bath downstairs easy to access for feeble or impaired ppl. View is out if this world. Really great time..

Great house - Fantastic View

My brothers and I really enjoyed our visit to this house. The place was super clean. We rested well in comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped. The view of the mountains and sunsets were the best. The only drawback for us was the grass and tall weeds growing through the gravel around the fire pit and landscaping. It was quite an eyesore.

White squirrels exist!

Five star host! We loved our stay at the grand Pisgah forest home. The home is beautifully appointed, very clean, perfect layout and all the amenities. We loved sitting around the fire in the evening after a day exploring the nearby waterfalls. We will book again. Can’t imagine a more perfect place for a breathtaking mountain getaway. White squirrels exist! We loved spying white squirrels from the deck while sipping our morning coffee.

You will enjoy nice sunset from the deck, very private. The Pisgah forest area is beautiful , particularly the waterfalls . You will enjoy seeing the white squirrels which are unique to that area. The communication was not good with the rental management company agent , Emily , she did not respond on time and needed several prompts to get back to us, and luckily we did not have an urgent issues during our stay to be addressed. Evolve rentals management needs to pay better attention to this.

Incredible View

When we first arrived, the driveway was daunting. It's steep with curves and very narrow. BUT the view is so worth it and after you drive up/down it a couple times, it's less concerning. You definitely need an all-wheel drive. The rainy days didn't bother us because the view was so spectacular. The house is very private and peaceful. So much so we spent more time lounging at the house than we anticipated. We had a small group so we spread out, but there is plenty of space in this house for larger groups. There were alot of spices, olive oil, coffee, filters, etc. left in the house which was nice. We had a welcome gift of coffee and beer which who doesn't love that combo. It's very conveniently located - close to Brevard, Pisgah National Park, Dupont Forest and just 50 min from Asheville. I would definitely rent this house again!
We didn't get a clear sunset, but even the cloudy ones were beautiful

Happy But Disappointed

Great house but was displeased that the gas fire pit was out of gas. I even called before to make sure it worked. They assured me it did but it did not. Was wanting to make s'mores with my granddaughter. Very disappointed.

Home Away from Home!

**STAY HERE!** We have stayed at many condos/houses with our family of 4, but we have never stayed in such a CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL house like this one! We do our research and read reviews carefully. We are SO thankful we decided to stay here. It truly felt like our home away from home. The owners have thought of every detail to make guests feel comfortable. They provided so much for us (i.e. cleaning supplies, kitchen items, extra pillows, blankets, the list goes on...). We are very picky about beds and we all slept like babies that week! We enjoyed the amazing views from the back deck. The location was wonderful, too! We spent everyday exploring all of the beautiful waterfalls and hiked many miles (Pisgah National Forest, Chimney Rock State Park, DuPont State Recreational Forest)!! We also enjoyed walking around the small town of Brevard. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is the Place! Home Away from Home!

We are so thankful that we decided to stay here! We always do our research and read reviews, so we were a little hesitant when this place only had 2 reviews listed, but we are SO happy we stayed here! Here's why: Communication with the property contact person, Emily, was great. The house was absolutely beautiful and SO clean! We have high expectations on cleanliness and this place exceeded them. The kids loved having their own bedrooms. The owners provided extra supplies, linens, full size shampoo/conditioner, local handmade soaps and lotions, etc and a little gift on the kitchen counter! They definitely went over and beyond to make sure this place felt like home. We didn't want to leave. The beds are very comfortable (we are picky)! The views from the back deck are stunning and the quiet neighborhood is so peaceful. Excellent location!! We spent our days hiking and enjoying all of the beautiful waterfalls (Chimney Rock Park, Pisgah Nat'l Forest, DuPont Rec State Forest) and walking around downtown Brevard. Your family will fall in love with this home and the area. We hope to come back soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful house but Hurricane Helene ruined our trip

House and property were great, but our timing was terrible because of the storm. We made reservations several weeks in advance and hoped to do some hiking, see waterfalls, play some golf, and visit with my brother and his wife. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene cut our trip short when it turned west toward Brevard. We ended up with no internet, no cell phone service, and limited electricity. The solar backup system at the house worked fine to power the refrigerator and downstairs lights, but by Saturday morning the lights were flickering and it was apparent that the impact of the storm was way worse than we expected and it would be days or weeks before services could be restored. We packed up Saturday morning, and were able to get out of the area thanks to some local residents with chain saws who removed downed trees from the highway. Loved the house and all the amenities. We had no communications with the property managers once the cell service and internet went out on Thursday night until we got service on the way home on Saturday. Property managers were very pleasant and courteous.

Truly beautiful home and views, but parents of littles need be made aware…

We absolutely loved this house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have a 14yr, 8yr, and 6yr old. The kids had already decided from pictures which rooms they wanted but unfortunately it wasn’t listed and we did not realize the twin bedroom is in the walkout basement, through a couple of doors, well out of earshot. It would be fantastic for a family with a couple of teens but with two younger kids and our oldest being a girl, we were not comfortable having either of the younger ones downstairs and our oldest wasn’t comfortable being down there by herself, so our girls shared a bed upstairs. The basement truly feels like an entirely separate, amazing living area minus a kitchen. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. The kids loved the fire pit every evening and the house is so close to so many beautiful hiking areas. We hiked every day to 7 different waterfalls, had lunch at a waterfall a couple of days, and came back to cook dinner and roast s’mores. Very comfortable home and we truly enjoyed our stay. I do think someone may need to mention to the cleaning crew to check the pots and silverware as everything we pulled out to use were dirty with food caked on pots and utensils, though we don’t count that against a place as we know people can easily “clean” their dishes and put them back in the cabinets with the cleaning crew none the wiser. Do also beware the carpet upstairs is in need of restretching. The kids did trip up on some bubbled carpet a few times.
