"This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay...

"We enjoyed our stay, great location, heaps of space to spread out and enjoy down time. Great loft apartment vibe. Excellent amenities. One suggestion would be little things like an extra towel, hand towel, bath mat - when you’re staying with 6, one bath mat get drenched pretty quickly. But that is a minor point. Would definitely stay again!!"

"Very comfortable and warm. Double glazed windows on the main road side of property. Clean and crisp decor. Bit of damage to furniture and limited seating in loungeroom with a 3 seater and single for a home that can accomodate larger numbers. Needs either gas hot water or larger HW cylinder as 1 shower and hot water was out. Inconvenient if you had 6 adults staying there. "

"This is an amazing place to stay. Just on the edge of the city, you would think you were in the bush, away from the busyness of life. Plenty of wildlife to observe as you sit on the deck. Great having a log fire to keep the house warm. Everything you need is supplied at this property. Highly recommended. "
