"Janet really goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home and that you don’t waste any time at the grocery store during your stay. Everything is fully stocked, bed was comfy, backyard was gorgeous. You’re within walking distance of everything in town. Just excellent experience all around. Came with a strong recommendation from my mom and did not disappoint. We will both be repeat customers I have no doubt. 5 stars for sure. "

"Small and unique. Quite peaceful and private. If you're looking for "seclusion" this isn't your place but no body bothers you. Close to everything. Cottage is well prepared and very enjoyable. Great for a relaxing getaway which is exactly what we got. Worth the stay!"

"Quiet cabin tucked away off the beaten path. Plenty of room and comfortable for chilling inside watching one of the many DVDs offered by the hosts, or on the back porch listening to the sounds of nature or the rooster crowing. Great headquarters for Canton Trade Days or Edom Arts Festival. "

"Stay was great, house is very comfortable and has everything you need for an extended stay. Location is very convenient to 59 and the airport, while also being peaceful and secluded. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Kingwood"

"Perfect for two but will accommodate four. Super nice little cottage equipped with everything you need right down to the salt and pepper. Communication with the host was timely and pleasant and the property was even nicer than the pictures indicate! Full kitchen,two A/C units and an awesome view of the lake. Caught some fish right off the dock. Two TV's in the main cottage and one in the detached room, also with a washer and dryer.My wife and I plan to come back here soon! Book it. You won't be...

" This place was great. So cute while still maintaining some historical aspects. Such a cute cozy old timey cottage with modern day comforts. Its very quiet and peaceful. Eric and Connie are great hosts. We had a tiny incident at 9:30pm and Eric answered the text very quickly. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. They are so accommodating and friendly. We would definitely go back. "
