  • Phlox Place is a peaceful charming cabin, it has one king size bed and 2 twin size beds. There is a 48" smart TV with ROKU in the Livingroom and a TV in the bedroom along with a dvd player and a wide selection of movies! Ideal place for the nature lover to spend a relaxing weekend! Plenty of wildlife to watch, feed the deer as they pass thru the yard and see the huge owls that come out at dusk, plus the star gazing is amazing! When in season help yourself to fresh lemons from our lemon tree, makes the best tasting lemonade! Sit by the fire pit, roast marshmallows and enjoy the country life! Be sure to visit the many beautiful parks and natural springs as well as the famous Suwanee River Music Park located in Live Oak. Wild Adventures Amusement Park is nearby and plenty of restaurants and shopping in Valdosta Georgia just 30 minutes away! Dollar General is one mile and Winn Dixie is in town about 10 miles! You are sure to enjoy the southern charm of Madison County and the small town of Pinetta! This home is in the middle of the woods and the lightening bugs are really cool. We know you will enjoy this country getaway!

Very quiet location

We had a pleasant stay and were especially thankful for the air conditioning, comfortable bed, and great shower. The pet-friendly policy was a huge plus for us!

A great place to stay off the beat and path. To be secluded in nature was relaxing. Awesome teaching opportunity for the children.

Peaceful country getaway, that's exactly what it was. This isn't a multi-million dollar condo on the gold or emerald Coast, however our stay there was pleasant. The bed was comfortable the cabin was clean, and the grounds are kept. And as the owner mentions, the stargazing here is beautiful. If you choose to stay here, definitely don't follow your GPS follow the owners directions, or else you will end up in the woods. For the few negatives, this is well water so make sure you bring bottled water, the place was fairly dark where my wife and I like a little more light, several light bulbs were out I mentioned that to the owner and she's going to take care of that. But all in all a nice stay. We were there for the Thanksgiving holiday, our niece was up in Valdosta and this place was such a short run up there that it made sense. Thank you for having us, it's a neat place in the country.

This was the perfect place for relaxing long weekend. The town of Madison, about 15 minutes away, has everything you need as well as a very nice historic shipping district.

Cute and cozy

Loved this home and would love to return. Super cozy and clean. The bed is so comfortable and the kitchen has everything we needed. It's quite remote which is part of its beauty. We have never seen so many stars in the night sky.

Cozy , country , warm.

Every corner had a cozy, country, heartfelt sincere, saying, you truly felt like you were in a place, where a farmer and his wife had lived. A great getaway for two or more.

Our 2nd time staying

We love staying here. It's close to Madison, a small town with very pleasant downtown and some good restaurants, yet far enough away to be in the country. Big open area around the house which is perfect for our dogs, otherwise surrounded by woods. Perfect place to escape for a weekend.

Great getaway!

The host Lisa was great to communicate with! This place was a great place to relax, and was very convenient for the three weeks I was there to properties in Madison FL, Boston & Pavo GA.

Country living

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to be! If you don’t like country living then think twice about this location but you might find that you fall in love with solitude in the usual overbusy American lifestyle.

Clean, quiet, as advertised

Family of 4: our “kids” are 17 and 20. This was plenty of room for our needs. We just needed a place to sleep as we were meeting family in Madison. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable.

Cozy little hideaway

Cute little place, secluded and private with screened porch perfect for relaxing in the evening after an eventful day. Close to dollar general for needs. Comfortable sleeping.isa got back to us within minutes for any questions. Extremely satisfied and would highly recommend

Nice, secluded hideaway

We spent the weekend in this quaint little cottage style house and it was just perfect for our needs. It was secluded and quiet. But only 20 minutes to Wild Adventures! It has an eclectic charm about it. The host was so kind and responsive. Internet service was great too!

Perfect Getaway

Charming cabin in the woods surrounded by nature, peace and quiet. Cabin has everything you need including modern conveniences. Particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise and looking at the night sky. Town of Madison is short drive away. Lovely historical town with fun shops and restaurants. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

OUTSTANDING!!!

Nice quiet and relaxing location. The cabin was cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. Well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. Lisa is a great communicator and the whole check-in process and detailed driving instructions was spot on. We were able to spend Christmas with our son who is stationed at Moody Airforce base. Thank you again Lisa.

Second Home for us

The property inside and out welcomed us which made us feel right at home. In fact we were kind of sad to leave. The host is top notch. The inside was decorated beautifully with all the amenities we needed. Our two pups enjoyed the place too. Loads of smells for them. God bless us all, Ken and Joan

Peace and quiet

If you like the peace of the forest, this little cabin won’t disappoint The front screened porch is the place to be when the birds wake up and start singing. Our puppies were so happy to run around outside, off leash with no danger! The outside looks rustic but you’ll find a nicely remodeled inside with a fully equipped kitchen.
