We stayed at Uncle Buck’s Cabin for a long weekend with friends, and I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The cabin was warm, inviting, and looked exactly like the photos. It was spotless and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and toiletries. Although it rained most of the weekend we were there, we weren’t able to enjoy the outdoor amenities, the cabin came equipped with a great selection of board games that kept us entertained and made for some fun, cozy nights in. Heather was an incredible host—super responsive and welcoming. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and she replied immediately. It’s clear she puts a lot of thought and care into making her guests feel at home. The location was also perfect—quiet and private, yet within walking distance to a few local restaurants. We had such a great time that we’re already talking about coming back for a winter getaway. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful and fun!

Absolutely beautiful property. Plenty of outdoor places to sit with different views based on the mood. They were well stocked for entertainment with games, porch games, etc. Great sound system for movie night. We didnt even want to leave the property! Kids loved swinging and being outdoors. We even saw elk grazing and strolling up the street. I will definitely be looking to stay in the near future!

Great cabin close to everything

My friends & I booked a trip to Strawberry to escape the heat. We chose this cabin based on its walking distance proximity to restaurants and that the cabin itself was updated & on a nice sized lot surrounded by pines. The amenities were spot on, we enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks, playing darts and horseshoes and relaxing on the patio in the mornings. In the evening we had 2 herds of elk roam through the property as well as some coyotes. We’ll definitely book this cabin again!

Amazing Inside and Out

We had a beautiful time! The cabin exceeded our expectations and is just amazing outside as it is inside! High quality appliances, all the kitchen, bath, home supplies you would need. Everything was clean with the sweetest touches of strawberry decor scattered throughout the home! The outdoor area offered multiple places to relax or dine, play and explore! Heather was amazing with communication and we loved the extra brochures, maps, bird guide, etc that were on hand! Thank you for a home away from home and for the lovely welcome gift! We cannot wait to book again!

Perfect getaway cabin.

This cabin is just beautiful and the location is perfect. Nestled in the trees, the outdoor area allows for relaxation in the trees. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and super clean. Walking distance to the Pie Bar is an extra benefit!

Lovely cozy cabin!! Can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at Uncle Buck's cabin! Heather was a delight and checked in with us shortly after we arrived just to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. Heather has truly thought of every detail to make this such a warm and cozy place to stay! Loved the reclining couches in the living room, the cozy fireplaces (one electric, one gas). The kitchen is stocked with every plate, cup, pot, pan, utensil and amenity you may need. We didn't get to use the outdoor spaces too much because of the snow on the ground, but we'd love to go back during the summer and take advantage of the outdoor firepit and dart board! Thank you again Heather!

Beautiful Cabin

WE loved our stay in Strawberry. This cabin was perfect for us. There were trails for hikes, was able to walk to places to eat. The cabin was very clean, decorated for Christmas. It is well stocked with all of your kitchen needs. We also got some visitors, Elk, about 30 of them. They are used to humans so we had a couple come up to us and we were able to pet them. There is an cool dart board and little bar area outside, which we used daily. Fire pit on the patio as well. We did take our own propane fire pit so we wouldn't smell like fire. I would definitely recommend this place. Heather the owner/host was amazing and responded right away with any questions we had. We will for sure book this cabin again in the near future.

Absolutely loved!

My family and I stayed for a week for an elk hunt. We absolutely loved the cabin! We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean, comfortable and cozy! We enjoyed watching the elk in the backyard. Heather is a great host and responds quickly if you have questions. I highly recommend Uncle Bucks cabin and we will definitely be back.

Family friendly retreat

We had a lovely time with four kiddos 8, 8, 7, & 6! They played outside on the swings and explored in the woods all day long. While we rested in the porch keeping an eye but relaxing as well. The cabin has extra attention to quality! Sheets, towels, linens everything was soft and clean. Beds were very cozy. Every room has a tv and easy to use. We will be back! Heather was a great hostess and very communicative. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Weekend getaway

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. The cabin was so nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked!! We couldn’t have picked a better place or location. The elk were out every evening grazing. At night we could hear them calling. The kids had plenty to do when we weren’t out hiking and enjoying the outdoors. We all had an amazing time and we can’t wait to get back there ASAP!!

Nice quite location in the woods

Memorable get together with family and friends. The place was clean and comfortable. Every little detail was thought of. We enjoyed the electronic dart board a lot. Host was kind to check on us as we arrived and offered any assistance though we didn't need any.

Great place to stay!!

We recently stayed here to escape the heat from the valley. The house is immaculately clean and decorated very nicely. They had everything we needed and then some. We saw elk and deer right on the property and there is plenty of seating outside to enjoy the weather - any time of day. Checking in was a breeze the Heather checked in to be sure we were settled. I would highly recommend this place for families and friends. It was one of the best VRBO houses we have rented!
