The cabin was clean and exactly as described in the listing. The location is great if you don’t want to deal with steep mountain roads, and it’s only about five minutes from the main strip, which was really convenient.There were a few minor maintenance issues (the dishwasher soap tray was faulty and the microwave handle would stick), but nothing that significantly impacted our stay.However, on day two we noticed a strong septic smell coming from the basement that started to spread throughout the house. By day three, it had become pretty overwhelming. Anytime the basement bathroom was used, the smell would travel through all three floors of the cabin.We contacted the host, and while no one was available that evening, a handyman came out the next morning. It turned out to be a septic issue that required repair, which was addressed that day. Unfortunately, we had planned to spend that day at the cabin but had to leave due to the smell. When we returned that evening, the issue appeared to be resolved and the odor was gone.Aside from the septic problem, the cabin itself was nice and the location was very convenient.

Great location, but lacking in many other aspects. Check in was straightforward and on time.On day 1 we noticed our microwave was broken. The host responded immediately and got a maintenence person out, but it took 2 more days to get a replacement. We resorted to cooking everything and/or reheating in the oven and discovered that every baking dish had some other family's grease or crust on it... additionally, the pull handle on the oven popped off on one side due to stripped screws so for the remainder of the trip we had to very carefully open the door from one side only. The host didn't offer any help with that, but it's our hope that this review will encourage them to upgrade the kitchen features. I think there were about 9 forks total for a cabin that's supposed to sleep 13... On day 3 of our 5 day trip a horrible septic smell began in the bottom floor and by the 5th and final morning it was overwhelmingly bad. We hadn't had any issues with it and as a family with septic tanks ourselves, we know what not to do. I did tell the host and they said they'd get a plumber out to look before the next guests... on positive notes, the beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were nice with good water pressure, the hot tub was great. This place needs a deep clean and a refresh and it would be great, but it's struggling to keep up with the demands on it.

Replacement Cabin - Smoky Mountain Splash

Cabin was beautiful - enjoyed the swimming pool and theater room and can't forget the hot tub - location was not the best (access was lost of curvy back roads) Something that needs to be addressed: the overhead lights in kitchen (~ 9 small lights in ceiling) - tripped the breaker when they were turned on. Suggestion - Showers need some type of shelf for soap/shampoo, etc. Overall cabin was wonderful :)

Fun in the Smokies

The cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in. We all had our privacy and fun together too. Large spaces well decorated and everything you need. The location was close to everything yet you felt you were deep in the woods. Easy check in. Host was very polite and sincere when I chatted with her. The property was very nice and clean. But we rented it for the game room also. The game machine with Packman and other games was broke. The foosball table was missing a handle. The pool table was good so basically the only thing we had was a pool table. The Jacuzzi was very nice.

Great location

Easy access to all of Pigeon Forges attractions. Room to spread out in cabin. Plenty of beds for kids. We cooked most of our meals there and plenty of kitchen equipment to do that. Comfortable and quite. We’ll use again if we travel that way

Great Location

This property was in an excellent location within a mile or two of the main Parkway running through Pigeon Forge. The home was very clean and summit. Reynolds was very responsive. The only drawback was the security level of the Internet would not allow iPhones to connect to the wireless router. However, this was not a big deal since we had excellent mobile data available. The home is well equipped, and was very enjoyable.
