We came here for a family reunion/celebrated 2 birthdays. We were very happy with the place. The thing that stood out the most was the amazing views of the mountains from all levels of the deck, mornings were especially beautiful. A few minor things could be fixed and the living room couch could use a deep clean, but overall we were happy. We had an issue with one of the dishwashers leaking and the staff was easily reached and they sent someone out to check on it the next day. We definitely recommend this place for a large group. Everyone was comfortable.

Overall a very nice property. However, kitchen needs a few items…both refrigerators are missing drawers, both can openers were broken, lack of serving platters and bowls as well as storage containers. Showers lacked any place for soap or shampoo and should provide more than one towel per person.Sound system for movie theater needs fixing..set on so loud couldn’t be adjusted so not able to use.

Beautiful place with beautiful views. Very spacious. This place has all the amenities. The only thing I could recommend is providing guests with a few more bath towels. One per person just isn’t enough even with a washer and dryer. Overall 10/10 experience.

Friend Group with families

This property was spacious and adorable. Lots of bedrooms and spacious gathering places. We all enjoyed the house tremendously. What an awesome getaway with beautiful sunsets!

Joe’s 65th B-Day Celebration

Twenty-nine people gathered in this house for a family vacation. Accommodations were great and exactly as described! The kids loved the pool/hot tubs. Adults loved the large exterior gathering area. Highly recommend this property if traveling with a large group.

Annual Friends Trip

All 25 of us had an incredible time at the cabin for our second annual friends trip to Dollywood! It’s everything as described, would recommend it for sure.

Family Vacation

Our stay was amazing. The property and views were beautiful. The house is spacious and great for large family gatherings. The house was a bit worn in some places (peeling paint in pool, scratches in floor and tables) but none of this interfered with our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the proximity to town was perfect. Also the communication and attention to guests was spot on.

Wonderful House

We had 17 fifteen year old girls and 15 moms and we loved every minute of our stay! The layout was great for this group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views are incredible and the outdoor space was perfect. Any questions were quickly answered by the host and we had one small maintenance issue that was quickly and fully addressed as well. Overall, this is a fantastic house for large groups!!

Lovely weekend getaway for a large group

We had a wonderful stay. This property comfortably hosted my family and my wife's family. The backdrops are incredible from the balconies. The kitchen is phenomenal for large groups (two fridges, two dishwashers, two sinks). There is ample seating and the kiddos loved the arcade games upstairs. I would recommend this property to all

Great Stay

This large home is absolutely amazing. Breathtaking views at every turn. Space for your group is plentiful. Bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. Great kitchen! Great theater! Great pool! Great outdoor area! Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Wedding

Had our small family wedding here and enjoyed the area for a week. Had an amazing time. The pool had some issues with temperature but that’s the only issue and pool guys were sent to try and fix the issue. We will be back!

Excellent house

It was an awesome house for our needs. When there was any issue that came up, the response time was excellent. We did find, however, that on the main floor the couches were very uncomfortable and very hard to sit in. The beds were very comfortable and overall the house was perfect.

Amazing Home

We had a family reunion of 26 people & this home was more than comfortable for all of us. Property is on top of the mountain w/ amazing views & privacy. Home was clean, beds comfortable, & pretty much everything you’d need for a weeks stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better home to enjoy all our family who traveled from all over the US to be here. A trip we’ll never forget & already planning to rent the same home again next year.

House is just as described. Views are STUNNING! You will never get tired of sitting on the porch, staring at the mountains for days. Sunsets were gorgeous. Steep driveway but level up top with lots of parking. One little hiccup and the owners were so quick to respond and fixed right away. It was nice to have the peace of mind that they were so on top of things, especially with 28 of us in the home! Each couple having their own king bed and bathroom was perfect, and then the kids all had queen bunks. Thank you for making our family reunion so great.

Lots of space

This property was very spacious and was great for our large family.We had some very late nights talking and playing cards; however, the noise did not bother the toddlers who were sleeping upstairs.It was very hot during our stay and there was a problem with the air conditioner upstairs. We made a phone call and the problem was addressed.We did have a few minor items and/or suggestions that we felt needed to be addressed and submitted that list to AvantStay. We were assured that these issues would be investigated. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sugarland!

Yall Family to Me

The views make up for any downsides since it is on the top of the mountain. Lots of space for our family of 28. Well stocked kitchen made all our cooking easy. Convenient for handicapped. Pool and hot tubs got a lot of use. Property, pool and hot tubs were clean. Downside...couches are awful; like a futon, very uncomfortable.

Top of the mountain!

House was great. With awesome views from the very top of the mountain. Great pool and nice layout. The property management company left a lot to be desired however. Called and texted several times about trash pickup and pool/hot tub cleaning. They responded but no one ever showed for either.

Family vacation at Sugarland

Sugarland was all we had hoped for; spacious very clean rooms, amazing outdoor view, wonderful pool and two hot tubs, well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We would have liked caddies in the showers and a kitchen sink disposal. My only 2 complaints were that the racing game didn’t work even after “repaired”, but the most upsetting for was we had only one working dishwasher as the other one was “inoperable” from the beginning and “needed replaced” per repairman but didn’t happen during our week so with 28 people eating we had lots of washing by hand. However, despite these inconveniences, we had the most wonderful, memorable, fantastic week in an incredible house at the top of the mountain with a spectacular view!

Yes, to the house!!!

House was gorgeous, it was just like the pics that were posted so that was a plus as you never know. The property people where always very quick at getting back with us or addressing any concerns/issues we had. Mostly the games (but I don't fault them at all for that), they needed to call in a specialist and did what they could to keep resetting them. It was nice that there was 2 of everything for such a big family. The kids/parents were in the pool and hot tub at some point every single day. Everyone can find something wrong with a house if they want to as it will never be perfect no matter what you pay but I truly have no complaints that would stop me from recommending this house to another family.

Amazing home for a family vacation!

Our family of 21 loved this vacation home! It was perfect for everyone! We were all able to have our own bedroom and bathroom in this large house! The common areas were big enough for all of us and the kids loved the recreation room! Josh the manager was over the top making sure every detail was perfect! There were beautiful flowers in every room, new family board games, pool toys for the kids, s’more’s box, wine, and a box of amenities of everything you might have forgotten! We shipped a bed rail by mail for our young grandson and it got lost. Josh purchased one and had it delivered! We asked if there was a ice chest available, one was delivered within hours including the ice! The house and level of service AvantStay provides is amazing! We will definitely seek out another home from them for next year’s family vacation!
