We booked this cabin for a family getaway. It was spacious and just as it appeared in the listing. The location was perfect being not too far off the parkway. We all enjoyed the hot tub and pool. The host was very responsive and answered all questions quickly.

Wonderful for a large group

We had a wonderful stay as part of a family reunion. The cabin is large and very comfortable for a large group. Beautiful scenery. Fun for kids with games and a pool. Adults enjoyed the hot tub. Great location to get into town easily or over to Dollywood. Communication with the property managers was excellent.

This cabin was perfect for our family

We found this cabin based on number of bedrooms and location and were sold on the 'no scary roads' as cold temps were still possible the week that we were there. The basics were perfect - the cabin was clean, well stocked, and had comfortable beds. The kids loved the pool, game room, and theater. The coffee bar and hot tub was the favorite of the adults. It was easy to get to the park from there and we were able to get to Texas Roadhouse without going on the parkway on a night when traffic was insane. Everyone is talking about when we will be able to go back.

Work Getaway

I chose this cabin for our work getaway. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything we could have needed or wanted with plenty of room. The pool was pretty cold. The air was not working properly and we all were pretty miserable. The owner did stay in communication with me trying to help fix it but we had a pretty sweaty night which makes for some grumpy folks.

Beautiful spacious cabin for our family of ten. Kitchen was stocked with all we needed for the meals we prepared. Hot tub, pool, and pool table were a hit for the grandchildren. Enjoyed the three decks and coffee bar. Overall, a great stay!

We stayed on May 30. 2024 @ The Grizzly Resort for a A family vacation.

Our stay @ The Grizzly Resort was amazing. The house was just like the picture, very beautiful and spacious. My adult daughters and all my grandkid's love all the amenities the resort offer. The owners were very pleasant and always responded back via text as soon as you hit send. I would recommend The Grizzly Resort to family and friends for future vacations. Excellent (10) Bonnie

Awesome stay at Grizzly Bears Resort

We loved the location of this property! Just a short 5 minute drive to the strip in the Pigeon Forge. We were on the East end of the strip which was nice because it was a short distance from Gatlinburg. The cabin was amazing. We loved that all of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. We would have liked a half bath on the main level, but we managed just fine. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Our girls lived in the pool! The media room got used quite a bit, as well. Overall, we had an awesome stay! Everything we needed was at the house. Cabin was clean and tidy. We loved the patios and the privacy on the back of the cabin. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Excellent Cabin

Our families enjoyed everything about this cabin. It had great space for our families to gather for meals, games and fellowship. Everyone enjoyed movies in the theater room. Playing the game systems we brought on the big screen was a kid favorite (big kids) too. The indoor pool wasn’t cold like other locations where we’ve stayed and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The two refrigerators and coffee bar were a hit. Every bedroom had a bathroom which was great with as many people as we had with us. So many things we liked about this place, but most of all we had a great time making memories.

The best experience we could’ve wished for !!

Where to start!? If I could give this experience a 10+ I would. We arrived and upon entry, we were greeted with the feel of Christmas in the air. The decor and layout of the property was amazing. The cabin had all of the amenities from a fully stocked kitchen, plentiful space, a great home theater, play area, and pool. Everything fit the description as described. The cabin was very clean and tidy and gave the warmth feeling of the season. My family truly enjoyed this experience and the host is phenomenal!! Their was great communication and we couldn’t have asked for better. We will be returning in the future and further more !!

Wonderfully equipped, clean, and spacious

Wow! What a fantastic cabin! It was clean, spacious, easily accessible by a paved road, and had everything you would need for a nice stay. The only thing we had to pick up were a few items for meals. A trip into town was maybe a nine-minute car ride to Kroger, Publix, or Walmart. We could have left our bathroom items (soaps, tissue paper, makeup remover, hair dryer) at home, since they were already provided by the host. With the groceries we purchased, we were easily able to cook a delicious dinner using the very well-stocked kitchen. It had everything one would need, including a full spice rack and over 16 table settings. In addition, the refrigerator had an ice maker, and the tap water was very good, so we didn’t even have to waste money on bottled water. We could just refill our reusable ones instead. The cabin was so convenient to shopping in Pigeon Forge (only minutes away) and to Gatlinburg (about 12 minutes away), while also being far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the mountains (we even saw a bear walking past the cabin one evening). We had so many options for activities for the 7 days that we stayed; we never ran out of ideas. The furthest we travelled was to Cades Cove, which was about a 50-minute drive. Most everything else was much closer. We loved the historic sites of Cades Cove and the serene outdoors, but most of all we loved seeing the bears (a momma bear and her two tiny cubs and then another bear before we left Cades Cove). On our stay, we also hiked to Laurel Falls and the Gatlinburg Trail. Both were excellent and easy enough for us all (ages 5-69) to do. Laurel Falls has hills, but Gatlinburg is fairly flat. Anakeesta is another must see. The views of the mountains were breathtaking and Anakeesta was so lovely and clean (other attractions in other states could take a tip or two from this place). Along with all these great outdoor activities, we also truly enjoyed the heated indoor pool and hot tub (towels included), the coffee bar, the pool table, and just sitting on one of the three back decks. By the end of our seven days, we were wishing that we had rented the cabin for much longer. It was so sad to leave. Thanga was an excellent host, so courteous and quick to respond to any of my inquiries. I truly felt like an honored guest. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice quiet retreat not far from attractions and hiking. We would stay again!
