The Creekside Delight was incredible! Our family of 12 were very comfortable. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The layout was perfect for everyone to enjoy their favorite area. The space was roomy and accommodating. The proximity to everything in town was superb. The cabin was clean. The communication started day one after booking. Nice location but needs changes to furnishings & cleaning

Chose this property for 4 King beds and location. Found the cleanliness lacking & the furniture had to be covered with sheets because the faux leather will come off on clothing & skin. Would not rent again.

Good location but not extra ordinary

We got this property for the July 4th week for 12 people - 6 adults, 3 teens and 3 children and found out that there are 4 bed rooms where we can fit 3 couples and 3 teens or children in the 4th room but no space of bed for the remaining 3. Bed room door on the kitchen level has issues closing up and not fully close easily and you need to hit hard to close properly. All the outer furniture has spider webs and layers of dirt and I had to call to have someone come and clean them up. If you are taking a shower or using the toilet then person cooking the food in the kitchen can listen to every single sound coming out the wash room. This is the worst design or placement of washroom I have ever seen. Kitchen should be away from the washroom. Sound complaint made by someone else is true as you can hear pretty much everything in the house. NO insulation through out the levels. Not enough lights near the entrance and stairs so while bringing stuff in and out of the residence in the dark is very difficult and one needs a person standing with a torch (specially near the stairs). After few baths the water in the outside Hot Tub got dirty but not able to replace it with fresh water as there is no instruction on how to empty the tub with existing water and fill up a new one. Simple instructions on a piece of paper or board will surely help. Just dont want to end up breaking something and pay for the charges to fix it. So could not use it after 2 days as kids dont wanted to go in dirty water. All in all not that good experience but you get what you pay for and we found this at a lower rate so thats a flush. Hope the owner fixes these items to attract more customers who can leave more positive feedback in future. Good Luck.

Beautiful cabin, not kept up

Beautiful cabin, but cleanliness and upkeep was an issue for us. There was something on the bathroom vanity downstairs (dried on), oven didn’t work properly, blinds did not work properly, insufficient amount of towels, wash rags, dish towels, and little/no paper towels or garbage bags. Location was good, very close to attractions and grocery stores.

Family VaCay

We enjoyed our time at Creekside Delight with a couple of minor issues. We had no air on the top two floors until the afternoon of our second day. The temperature was 80 plus degrees and that was difficult as we had small children with us. We found clothing and other trash behind nightstand and upstairs and in the closet. In the defense of the rental group they did send a repair man out the first night we were there and he did try to get our air working and they called the next morning and sent a HVAC guy out who was able to fix it .

Creekside delight

Our stay was really nice. Had a great time with family. Our only complaint was that we didn’t know the pool wasn’t going to be open because the kids wanted to play in the pool. But over all everything was very nice.

Room for improvement

Overall, we enjoyed our time at the cabin. Everything was just like in the pictures and it worked well for our group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). The hot tub was great and we had an owl friend join us for the first couple days. However, there were point that could be better. Noise - there is no insulation in the walls or floors. As a result, the floors creak loudly when people are walking above you, plus you can hear conversations in the next rooms. We also had very loud neighbors and didn't sleep much (apparently there is no sound ordinance so there was nothing we could do) The furniture on the main floor is very worn and uncomfortable. It definitely needs replaced.
