We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The location truly can’t be beat—right on a stunning beach with beautiful views and easy access to the sand and water. The home itself was incredibly cozy and welcoming, making it feel like a true home away from home from the moment we arrived.Everything was thoughtfully set up with comfort in mind, and the amenities were fantastic. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living spaces were comfortable and inviting, and there were plenty of extras that made our stay easy and relaxing. After long beach days, it was so nice to come back to a space that felt warm, clean, and perfectly maintained.This rental had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach stay and would absolutely love to return!

We had a great stay on Cat Island and at Cat's Cove! The kitchen is well stock with pots, pans, and appliances. The netting around the beds was great for the no-see-ums and we loved the open kitchen into the living area concept. The gas grill was also super easy to use. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful home

Comfortable home with terrific outdoor spaces and private beaches. Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Cat was a joy to communicate with and Debby and Tinny were extremely responsive. Really enjoyed our stay!

Highly Recommend!

Cool house with a great location on the island. House had everything we needed and was very private. This was the only spot on the island we were bit up by the bugs and a new ceiling fan above the outdoor couch would have been nice to have for some airflow.

Cat Island Heaven Round 2!

This was our second stay at this same location, and we have all just fallen in love with this area. When our daughter, who is a senior was given her choice in Spring Break trips, she didn't hesitate to pick this beautiful place, and we couldn't have had a better time. It was literally everything our family needed, and we hope to come back in the future!

Smith/Short/Wallin-Ralles family celebration of life

Cat’s Cove was an excellent place for our family gathering right on the ocean. The adult kids enjoyed the snorkeling right out front. The older gals loved the kayaks and swimming. It was perfect for the family of 6. This was my fourth time back to Cat Island and the first time in Pigeon cay. I loved the central location on the island. The home was everything we expected and was so relaxing. The owners and property managers were exceptional! We will be back!

Just relax!

If you are looking for a place to stay with restaurants and music and a lot going on, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking to TRULY relax, cook your own meals and enjoy the quiet of the Bahamas, this is your place! Cat Island is SO beautiful and serene, and Cat's Cove is the same. This home is the most amazing place we have ever stayed. The home has all that you need to be comfortable, water to drink, all of the cooking supplies you need to just slow down. We had beach towels, clean blankets, amazing views. Everything! We brought way too much stuff! I loved combing the beaches for treasures, I found so many! Our son loved fishing and kayaking, he caught a handful of really cool fish, our daughter loved being in the water and kayaking, and my husband did it all. We enjoyed our sunsets floating in the ocean, and late nights at the Tiki Bar. Music playing loudly, of course! We love that! There wasn't a soul around. It wasn't until the last day that we saw anybody. This vacation was a bit quieter than we thought but it made us unwind. We had a wonderful experience! Rollez for a night and Da Smoke Pot two times and souvenir's on the side of the road! This is a place to truly unwind and just relax. It was amazing! Cat Island, and Cat's Cove will never be forgotten for our family. I hope you can have the same experience!

Wonderful hosts and property

The listing for Cats Cove doesn’t do it justice. The property is meticulously maintained, well appointed and in a perfect location to explore all of Cat Island. Cat and Mark (hosts) were always quick to respond to messages and very helpful throughout our stay.

Our Favorite Vacation!

This was our second time on Cat Island. Cat's Cove was nothing less than remarkable. We had really high expectations for the property based on reviews, photos and the video, but when we got there, Cat's Cove so exceeded what we imagined. The home is amazing. Really comfortable and in perfect condition with everything you need. But the location is just unreal. Its on a private beach with a pristine white sand beach on one side perfect for swimming and then a great reef on the other side for snorkeling and exploring. Tons of fish and sea turtles every day. I really cannot say enough. We have been to many islands and stayed in many villas. This was by far the best. In addition, the owners were amazing and super responsive to help with questions. The property managers, Tinny and Debbie were also super helpful and stopped by to make sure everything was good. The grounds keeper, Renaldo needs a big shout out. We loved talking with him and he made us fresh coconut water which was amazing and gave us lots of tips on things to do on Cat! Cat Island is a treasure. You have to go there to understand just how special it is.

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay in fantastic Cat Island. Cats Cove is a beautiful and very well set out villa. The owner puts mucht tought into detail and a very welcoming atmosphere. The manager Debbi is very helpful and a fantastic cook. Definitely would love to come back to this beautiful place.

Vacation

The 5 of us had a great time exploring Cat Island. The flats were close by to explore. We bought fish from Carl Pinder. I was amazed how much sand the beach lost on the beach in 2 days with the westerly winds blowing. Then 2 days later most of the sand was replenished. Awesome place to stay. Only negative was the mosquitoes after dark and the rain one night brought out the no see ems. This is so typical for any island in the Bahamas. Thanks Cat for letting us stay in your home.

The perfect honeymoon getaway

If you’re looking for a relaxing trip away from people and just want privacy, this is the place to go! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook, the air conditioning works great, and the property is perfect! We snorkeled and kayaked every day! We also renewed our vows right on the beach! We had the beach to ourself the whole week!! We absolutely loved our stay at Cats Cove and plan to return one day!! Oh and the owners are wonderful and helpful in every way!!!

Paradise 🌴

We had the most wonderful time at Cat’s Cove on Cat Island! The property description could never do justice to this island paradise! Cat and Mark are the most thoughtful and accommodating hosts. The house was laid out as to offer togetherness, yet adequate space for myself, husband, 18 and 20 year old children. The tiki bar, sprawling patios and two private beaches were the icing on the cake! We explored the island, kayaked and snorkeled every day. We can’t wait to come back, as we left part of our hearts at Cat’s Cove.

Great experience!

I found cats cove as I was looking for a very secluded vacation destination and this place was absolutely amazing! We spent countless hours snorkeling and just taking in the breathtaking views. The entire process was very pain free and communication with the owner and property manager was top notch and we can’t thank you all enough!

Heaven on Earth

Our stay exceeded even my wildest hopes/expectations. The house is one of the best equipped rentals I have stayed in, despite being in a secluded location. Two private beaches. All the creature comforts. You fall asleep listening to the waves and wake up to the sunrise reflecting off the water. Only been gone a few days and I’m already desperate to return. A perfect stay!

Wonderful Week in Paradise

The property was the perfect holiday escape for our family of five, which includes three college-aged children. The property’s private beach provided hours of relaxation as the tropical tide washed away the worries of the world. On the few days when we experienced rain, the layout of the house enabled us to both gather together in common areas for playing games and preparing meals but also offered private areas to nap or read in solitude. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing three meals a day. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, complemented by the soothing sound of the nighttime surf. This visit was our first to Cat Island, which was quiet, secluded, and seemingly uninhabited. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Each of us is counting the days until we can return.
