Family Fishing Trip

It was a great location if you want to fish on the Missouri River. There was plenty of room for our extended family of 10. We were able to park both of our boats & charge them. The host was nice & accommodating.

Our Second Visit

We have stayed here before & loved it enough to come back. 6 adults + each family has dogs. We love it there - so peaceful and beautiful. We take ATVs and UTVs and go for rides also take the dogs for walks - they love to run. We enjoy the river - and the dogs will swim. It's nice & clean. We take in all of our food because it's a little drive to the nearest town. The screened porch is awesome - we spent a lot of time out there. Lori is great - gives you your privacy but also there if you need anything.

Beautiful Location and Amazing Host

I stayed at the property for a fishing trip with my family. We had a wonderful time! Lori was incredibly helpful during the check-in process and gave us a tour of the property. We did a lot of hiking and fishing and saw a ton of deer, pheasants, and other wildlife. I cannot reccommend this location enough! It was beautiful!

July fishing vacation

The property is AMAZING! I am used to bringing some much of my own things and this property had many of those items. The DOGS loved the acres of fields they were able to run. Longer distance (gravel) than we would have liked to drive to a boat launch but that is country staying. :)

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay while fishing for walleye on Lake Oahe. There were eight of us with three boats. We cooked breakfast and was on the water by 9 am with limits of walleye by 2 pm leaving plenty of time for story telling and evening grilling. Some of the guys caught catfish from shore during evening sunset. What a great experience for all of us! We thank Lorie for being a great host and being so responsive to our inquiries.

Great Spot for Secluded Getaway

This was our 2nd time staying here, and as usual, it was great. Perfect for our group of guys spending a few days chasing pheasants. Thanks Lori for a great stay.

Our family reunion

Lori was a super host! She was right up the hill so when we had a question we had a quick response. We had all of our kids and grandkids so it was super busy but the spread out of the house was awesome and the screened in porch was so enjoyable in the evenings! The rental had all the things we needed. It was quite a drive but so worth it!

Great family vacation spot

We loved the location -- quiet, not many people around and very relaxing! The hills and Missouri River were so pretty. We had our family of 6 adults and all of our dogs and it worked perfectly for us! We took ATVs with us and had plenty of room to ride on the trails. The river was so clean and clear, we went there daily & waded and let our dogs swim. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the screened in porch. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep - - do plan ahead as it's about 35-40 minutes to the closest store. Lori was great - she is close by in case you need anything. It was a great vacation!!!

Wonderful as advertised

Communication was great at all times with the owner, who was warm, welcoming and accommodating. We loved the remoteness and beautiful views and there was plenty of space for our 3 trucks with boats. There were a few maintenance challenges (fridge not cooling, slow drain) which were promptly attended to. Highly recommend as long as you’re ok with a several mile drive on gravel roads to get there. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Walleye fishing trip

Absolutely perfect location. Excellent house for a group fishing trip. Everything you need at hand. Close to any of the local lakes. Excellent lake access and shooting range on property. Excellent communication and support from owner. Couldn’t be better Will be back !
