"A great place to stay. We were in the pink room with 2 queen beds. It was gorgeous. Beautiful linens. Great AC which was welcome. Alex was a lovely host and we enjoyed family style breakfast with the other guests on the second morning. We explored Sandbanks and borrowed beach towels. We enjoyed walking the grounds and felt very at home here. It’s a beautiful old farmhouse and Alex and his partner have really decorated it with both style and comfort in mind. The art and decor are beautiful. "

Karen & George are the near perfect B&B Hosts, beautiful people with great stories to share, invisible for much of your stay, but right there when you are in need of anything. Breakfast was a good cut above the norm and accompanied by the host’s warmth. These people care about what they do and want nothing more than to ensure you enjoy your short stay in The County. As a total package the Runaway Rooster is a tough to compare. "
