We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Whitmer Place. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and appliances. WiFi and tv set up was great for taking in a movie or watching sports and the view from the deck of the Superstion’s was amazing! A few more cleaning supplies like a broom and dust pan would be helpful.

Super comfortable and well-appointed home. Great communication with the host. We loved being on the outskirts of town in close proximity to hiking trails - seeing and hearing wildlife was a bonus.

Well represented

Peaceful location with great views and very comfortable

Spacious home with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a location with great views. If you want a base camp out in nature far away from the traffic and hustle of Phoenix city, I highly recommend it.

Our Mesa Winter get-away

We booked a week to escape our Winter blues. We also didn't want to be squeezed into one of the many gated, cramped communities. This place definitely hit the mark!Set in the north side, the neighborhood nestled up to the foothills of the Usery mountains, with very close and easy access to multiple trailheads. The slightly higher elevation offers you a view down into Mesa/Apache Junction, and the view of the mountains out the back was fabulous.The home itself is very nice and comfortable. It has a warm and welcoming decor, with plenty of room to relax. Any questions we did have were quickly answered.I do hope we have another chance to enjoy this retreat in the future.

Wonderful house in Apache Junction.

Stayed in this house for one month. I would say it is semi rural. That was great for me but some may find that different than they expected. It is close to restaurants and grocery stores. Outdoor opportunities abound. Short distance to the Superstition Mountains with great hiking. Shopping Centers are a reasonable distance. ASU has athletic events such as baseball, basketball, softball, hockey, etc. MLB spring training parks are nearby. Good place to drive around Arizona to explore. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place for small family

Clean and open for a small family. My family plus grandparents stayed here and thought it was a perfect place for location and price. Its clean, rooms were good size, master was great. Great for little walks around the neighborhood next to the beautiful mountains. I recommend here.

Peaceful

Nice and peaceful stay. Quiet and comfy. We didnt spend a lot of time there as we were visiting family and friends but the time we were there it was relaxing.
