Un lugar tranquilo y acogedor. Deben mejorar en la limpieza de la piscina. No pudimos usarla porque estaba sucia. Por lo demás 👍

A pleasant deception
My wife and I attended Guns n Roses concert at Glendale and before travel I did an extensive research to select what hotel would be convenient considering price/quality, security and mall proximity. The one that convinced me was this one. After check in we move towards the room. Pros: - Room has sofa and full kitchenette as described - The security in place is good, the hotel have a big wall on the rear so you can park your car there and sleep well with the tranquility that no one will vandalize, robber or damage your property (your car). This is a very important issue on surrounded hotels. - Proximity to Arizona Mills, Carl´s Jr. (which is cheaper than A. Mills restaurants /or if you get tired of them) , K Circle and WalMart (a few blocks down, but try to go during the day) is a plus. Cons: - The problem was that the very first night I have itchin on the top of my feet. Later I notice some red spots there caused by bedbugs (see pic). - Another important issue is the $40 deposit that was never refunded. The person at reception told me that I will be refunded after 10 days max. and at this time It has not been refunded. - No bill provided when check out neither. This is annoying because they told me the same "breakdown printer history" all nasty hotels provide to customers asking for the bill. They told me they will send me the bill by email and never received at this moment. Next time I will consider Motel 6 or Days inn, I think I´ll get better service and price.

Our room smelled like old fish. The room was tidy but looked old and dirty. The carpet looked like it hadn’t been washed in years, there were drinks and peanut butter in the fridge that I assume belonged to the previous guests. The freezer had an ice machine that I wouldn’t trust eating ice out of because it looked dirty. Lots of homeless people in the area. It was a central location though, so there were plenty of restaurants and stores around.

Hidden fees
No where do they state a charge for parking. After check out I received a charge on my credit card for $12 for parking. I also was not informed ahead that my room would be next to two rooms being renovated the adhesive smell was so bad we had to leave for several hours for our room to air out. The place is in need of renovation so I am glad they are doing it. Warning before check in would be appreciated. Currently the bathroom fan is inadequate, the tub is rusty and the ceilings are in need of retexture. The bed is good but aged. The pillows are comfortable. Kitchen has a sufficient amount of dishes and cookware to make the place home for a week. The “free” breakfast is awesome! Real food: sausage/bacon, eggs, waffles and a bread selection

We stayed for four days, and asked for housekeeping service. No one cleaned our room or even took out trash or gave us linens the entire time. I called about it every day, and they said they would come every day and didn’t. I asked for the floor to be vacuumed because we had spilled some crumbs and they told me I could borrow a vacuum. I called and asked for towels, and they asked me to bring my towels down to the front desk to get some more. I am not really picky but I am annoyed that I spent so much money and didn’t get basic things done.

This hotel is nice in the lobby but rooms and tapestries need to be updated/cleaned. There were holes in the towels, bed sheets stained, couch was stained. The bathtub was rusty, the coffee maker appeared to have never been cleaned, there were crumbs in the silverware holder. The condition of the room appeared as no pride was taken in it.

Not what I expected
The kitchenette is a bonus. They have "security guards" who spend most of their time in the lobby. We had our car stolen in the back.They heard nothing. Do not to park there. Big signs they are not responsible for theft. they have NO cameras on property. Coffee great, breakfast offered so so. Would not stay there again. Emailed concerns and the stress of it all. They replied they will "discuss at their next meeting".

Nice place to stay
Great location close to freeways. Room was clean and comfortable. TV didn’t work at first, but a call to the frost desk resulted in a speedy fix. Grounds were nice, with a gas fireplace and pool area (not heated, so too cold to use this time of year). We stayed 6 nights and were told the housekeeper comes every 5 days (staff gladly exchanged used towels for fresh whenever we needed them) but the only cleaning was emptying garbages, bringing towels and running the dishwasher. Bathroom wasn’t cleaned and bed wasn’t made, which was disappointing. Other than that, everyone was pleasant and helpful and a big shout out to Ms. Shirl who was so energetic, professional and hard-working. She was so pleasant we looked forward to seeing her each morning to put a smile on our faces. She keep the breakfast bar fully stocked and always asked if we needed anything. Loved that there were gluten free muffins and oat milk available each day and even vegetarian sausages one morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and easy access to I10 & HWy 60. So many fast food restaurants within 2 miles. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Check in was delayed several times. After finally getting in to the room there was urine and hair on the toilet seat. The bed was hard as a rock. The next morning the front desk person was no where to be found for 15 minutes(the breakfast attended was searching for her) and they didn't have the promised airport shuttle so they ordered me a shady ass Uber and then tried to charge me for the free parking

Overall it was a decent property. My biggest gripe was the noise. Between the motorcycle group that was there reving their bikes early in the morning and late into the nights and some people literally blasting a loud speaker with horrible rap music that shook the whole building for hours, rest and quiet was hard to come by during my stay. Just be prepared for the noises and surroundings of a busy city when staying here. I had no issues with the physical property or staff.
