VRBO Stay April 2025:The unit did not meet occupancy requirements.First we arrive (March 15, 2025) the couch/hide-a-bed is mangled beyond use! The frame on the hide-a-bed is inoperable. Damage to the frame was severe enough that it relinquished the entire unit useless! The couch being damaged beyond use left our group with one less sleeping apparatus, this also meant we had no accommodating resource in the living room. Contacted the proprietor to inform them of our situation. They provide an answer that lacks resolution. We’re told “that it’s a weekend and they will review the couch situation on Monday.” This reply lacked any acceptability. Funds were posted for a fully functional and livable facility for 3 individuals. With no suitable seating/sleeping the requirement was reduced to using the kitchen chairs. Unacceptable reply, we were located within the facility which should have been ready for occupancy. A facility will meet all requirements for living space and all items should be in acceptable working order. There were three occupants involved on location. One of us slept in the floor The kitchen cooking equipment had particles of food and debris on many item’s we attempted use, and the concern for our health was now elevated. We did not want one of us could become ill resulted in our purchase of our own preparation and serving items. The evidence produced a negative outcome. The facility was not ready for occupation.
