Awesome staff and a surprisingly nice and well maintained property for the area. While I didn’t feel unsafe the area around the hotel is definitely sketch.

The only thing I can say I did not like is we had two rooms and they put us on different floors when I asked and called ahead to not have that happen breakfast was great. pool nice rooms nice

When we arrived, a fellow customer told us their breakfasts were the best. We agreed and passed that compliment on to other guests. We stayed for two weeks and were surprised when they explained that three nights a week they offered a "small plate" social for guests. Woo-hoo! We were very happy with the facility and staff. We would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got a suite right at the end of the one of the hallways so it was very quiet. Suite was well-appointed and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and kids enjoyed the pool. The immediate neighbourhood wasn't the liveliest, but Phoenix is a car city and the hotel was close to downtown, the airport, and with easy driving distance to other parts of the city.

Room was clean and nice. Front desk very friendly. Breakfast was good. Only issue we had was we book room for 3 people and there was no extra blanket or pillows for some to sleep on pull out.

The Staybridge provides comfort in a centralized location. It’s shoe-horned into a wedge-like piece of land sandwiched by the freeway, a set of apartments, and several stores, but the property is clean and very well maintained. The breakfast is varied with busy, attentive staff, and the area is spacious and well laid-out. We plan on returning there.

Unfortunate Christmas night incident
The property itself is nice. But we had an unfortunate incident during my family's stay on Christmas night. At around 1:30 a.m., two men came into our room unannounced while we were sleeping. They were likely surprised to see other people there and left. A little while later, we heard loud banging on the door and a shouted request to open the door. Two men from hotel staff were there, and one demanded to know who we were and said we weren't supposed to be in that room. His tone was aggressive and unfriendly. It was the same man who had checked us in that night (how else would we be in the room?) This went on for a few minutes until I showed him our reservation and he finally recognized us and apologized. He said he would comp us for the inconvenience. When we checked out the next day, no mention was made of the incident so I asked. I was told an assistant manager would call me. He did not. A day or two later I called back and spoke to the assistant manager. He said they don't "comp" rooms but could offer points. He didn't apologize until prompted, said he would investigate and get back to me. He has not called back. Needless to say, it was scary and disturbing to have strangers walk into your room at that hour while you are sleeping, then be accused of something you didn't do, then get the run around from management about any kind of compensation (and a less than adequate apology). Whatever the mix-up was, this standard of customer service is unacceptable.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Very nice staff. Good quality breakfast with many options. Pool and hot tub were a bonus after a day of exercise.
