Muy escaso el desayuno y el administrador muy confianzudo quiso meterse en mi habitación que para checar lo de mi paseo al Gran Cañon y lo mismo hizo con mi compañero,cuando lo poniamos hacer en la recepción.

El hotel está ubicado justo enfrente de The Van Buren, lo que lo hace muy conveniente si vienes a Phoenix a un evento ahí. Las condiciones son buenas y el precio también.

Hotel una estrella!!
La primera impresión es muy pobre. Me pareció como lo que llamamos en México "hotel de paso" El área de recepción sucia, con olor desagradable, sin baño, incomoda El personal poco interesado en resolver la problemática situación de la reserva Al final, no nos hospedamos en ese hotel por las condiciones no adecuadas. Desde luego con problemas por buscar otro hotel, después de un viaje cansado y sin conocer el area.

Pasamos un día en este Hotel agradable y básico, en el centro de Phoenix. Fué un plus el desayuno autoservicio gratis. Cuidado en los alrededores se encuentran muchas personas en situación de calle.

Buen hotel, buena ubicación y buen precio.
La habitación estaba muy limpia y cómoda. El carro lo pudimos estacionar frente a la habitación, quedando así en la ventana. El desayuno fue ligero pero muy bueno. Nos trataron muy bien, buen servicio, la verdad sí volveremos a este hotel. El precio está bien. El hotel estaba muy cerca del teatro a donde íbamos, a unos 6 minutos caminando o menos.

Hotel ubicado en downtown
El hotel esta cerca de muchas lugares en downtown como estadios, con una caminata de 10 - 15min. el lugar esta limpio, y cuenta con estacionamiento gratuito. El desayuno es muy basico, cafe y pan con yogurt. La ducha esta un poco chica y la secadora que usan para las sabanas deja un olor notable, no precisamente desagradale, pero te acostumbras. El staff es muy amable.

Las mayores ventajas son que está abierto 24h y que la habitación es grande, bonita y comodísima. Está céntrico pero ya estando allí me comentaron que la zona no es muy buena. Los dueños son muy amables y hospitalarios. La wifi iba algo lenta y el cerrojo de la habitación no funcionaba. Carece de zonas comunes, comedor, no hay nada por el estilo, sólo la recepción. El desayuno se sirve en la misma recepción.

La persona de recepcion es poco amable. No da información de nada. Esta detras de un cristal blindado. No hay restaurantes ni tiendas cerca del hotel. Pocos servicios.

Cuartos cómodos
Cuartos cómodos pero muy poco estacionamiento a la vista, si se llena por enfrente tienes que dejarlo por atrás y esta lejos de tu vista y puede generar desconfianza pero en general muy bien.

No elevator
Generally all was pleasant about this downtown Phoenix lodging EXCEPT there was NO elevator so we had to lug our heavy load up to the 2nd floor. We were pleased that there wasn't breakfast offered because we wanted to eat at Matts Big Breakfast nearby...best bacon I've ever eaten!

Well, where do I begin to rave about this little gem, located in the heart of downtown Phoenix's historic "Auto Repair District." No, I'm not gonna knock the location, saying something is "in a bad area" is just code for racists to use with each other. The location was fine, just a few blocks from the light rail and an amazing brewery across the street. What I will knock is the hotel itself. Nevermind that it was 118 degrees outside, the owners did not feel the need to use AC in the lobby or the halls. The room itself smelled like a hamster cage, and was disgusting. I'm no stranger to staying at "literally the cheapest hotel on Expedia" and I get what that generally comes with, but this place was even worse than what I expected. The desk staff were so rude, to the point that it seemed like they were going out of their way to show how much of a nuisance it was to have guests staying there. How dare I ask you for a bottle of water at 2 in the afternoon? And they also were not wearing masks at any point in my stay, even walking around the property. At least housekeeping had good attitudes. There were a total of four available electrical outlets in the entire room, none of which were near the bed, which in 2020 is of course a major hassle. I mean, you get what you pay for, but I would have gladly spent an extra $5 per night to stay at "the next cheapest place on Expedia" had I known how awful this property was.

Dirty, smelly and insecure.
The property felt insecure, gates didnt lock. The room smelled bad and it was supposed to be non smoking. We looked at a second room that was even dirtier. We didnt use the room at all, contacted hotels.com, got a refund and went to a different hotel.

Juste pour dormir (et prendre une douche froide)
Un motel correct... à condition que vous ne vouliez pas prendre une douche chaude. En quatre jours, je n'ai pas eu d'eau chaude dans la douche malgré mes réclamations quotidienne. La chambre était propre, mais visiblement vieille, avec peu de prises électriques. Le réveil était inutilisable (prise tordue) et il y avait une lampe dans un coin... mais sans prise électrique disponible à proximité pour la brancher ! Le motel donne directement sur un carrefour et une caserne de pompiers donc ne vous attendez pas à du calme. Les voisins ont l'habitude de se réunir dans les coursives pour boire des bières, discuter et écouter de la musique. Heureusement j'aime Metallica... mais j'ai quand même dormi avec des bouchons auditifs. L'accueil est une loterie : vous pouvez tomber sur le gentleman affable et serviable, ou alors sur la jeune femme que vous semblez déranger et qui ne vous sourira jamais. Le petit-déjeuner est très simpliste, mais il est gratuit, donc rien à redire. Le parking est facile et on est bien situé, au milieu du downtown.

Just needed a place to spend the night near the capitol and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. Was a little concerned with the location. The hotel is older and looks its age from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the hotel. The room appeared to be freshly painted. The bathroom fixtures appeared to have been recently renovated. The room was exceptionally clean. From the outside, it almost looks like anyone could access the second floor rooms from the street, but actually to access any of the rooms you have to go into the hotel and pass by the front desk. So, the hotel felt secure. Breakfast was probably below average but there was a little bit there.

Heartbroken for valentine's day....
The TV didn't work & the internet kept cutting out. Also the ac/ heater unit was completely broken. I wouldn't go back.

Clean and friendly
All and all our stay was great. The hotel lobby and room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would say the only downsides were breakfast was literally; coffee, juice, 2 kinds of cereal and a waffle maker. Also, though this was not the hotels fault, there is a club across the street where the music was BLARING on friday night until 2 am. We could seriosuly hear the music and bass through our hotel wall. We called down to the front desk about 1am just to ask when they were going to stop. And they said that they are actually not allowed to be doing that past 10pm and have already called the police multiple times on the club to complain. The police did nothing. Like I said, this wasn't the hotels fault and they did everything they could. but it did affect our ability to sleep and rest there.
