As a 1st time user of Vrbo, I’m less than impressed! I booked this place on 7/11/24 and immediately reached out to Vrbo and both people listed on the property to ask a couple of questions. I did not hear back from anyone. On the day of arrival (a solid month after booking), I entered an EMPTY property! There was no furniture! The first property owner I called had a disconnected phone line, the second property owner did not answer after numerous rings and it took over 2 minutes to get a Vrbo customer representative on the phone. After spending over 30 minutes on the phone with Emily (an extremely apologetic and professional Vrbo representative), she began the refund process and tried diligently (to no avail) to find me a new property. It seems there are no same day check ins and the one place that would work best needed a 7 day vetting service because of strict HOA rules. I can honestly say, I am hesitant to try this service again.
