First the good.. the host company was really great with their communication and responsiveness. We had very few issues, and they were resolved quickly. Great location! We walked to Chase field and back every day. Easy safe walk. Across the street from Arizona Center and we walked over for a movie. Parking in the garage with a pass was easy, albeit across the street. But was covered a ready. The “meh”…. His unit is TINY! Yes is had a very functional kitchen with the bare minimum basic supplies and the bathroom is actually very spacious. But the bed/tv/desk/table space is very small. The unit feels like a halfway house for college grads between dorm living and normal human habitations. Actually, we never saw anyone older than what appeared to be around 23. The elevators are always available, but they smell like weed, as does just about everywhere along the sidewalk in front of the building. The bed/foam pad is about 4 inches above the floor, which is a good way to get a little “leg day” in , everyday hahaha. It was fairly comfortable the first night, but gradually sagged in the middle as the days went by (5). Maybe it’s just not meant to be slept on every night. Still not sure how private those windows are. Praying that they were hahaha! They look out to a huge building next door with apartments looking back. If I were alone and only staying for a couple of days, I’d be back. More than that though…not so much. No fault of the host, just the unit.
