Great home for Vacation

Perfect Home for a Family or a few couples looking to get away

The Gold Miners Escape was the perfect home and location for a family visiting the Phoenix area. The pool and spa are the perfect size for a family and just the right depth. The patio is designed for relaxing and practically living outdoors. We spent 60% of our time at the home outdoors swimming, using the grill and soaking up the sun. There was more than enough outdoor pool toys and games and the same indoor for the kids. The beds were super comfortable and everyone enjoyed using the master bath shower. It was also great to have TVs in almost every room because with kids of varying ages they all had their own outlet to relax. The neighborhood was cozy and safe and we took daily walks sometimes to the park less than a mile away. The home provided all the amenities and we were sad to leave. Great home for a family. Highly recommend staying here if you come to Mesa or the Phoenix area. If traffic isn’t bad it’s only about 15-20 minutes to get to main attractions in Phoenix. And very close to the Mesa airport.

Great spot to relax in the warmth

Family quick holiday in the sun- doggie travelled with us and did well in the roomy very clean house. We loved the pool and the hot tub and enjoyed the soak after a day out and about or at the pool. Loads of nice amenities and we played pickleball close by. Cooked up nice food on the Bbq and had superb weather. Even had a home gym in the garage! Thanks GemHaus -Will definitely come again!

Great location

If you are looking for a hpuse that is in a great location, look no further. The house was very clean and everything was the way it was listed. The pool and spa were great. One suggestion would be to have handles for the pool and spa. We have been to Arizona numerous times, and this by far has been the best spot. Looking forward to being back again. numerous times

Hidden gem

We can’t say enough good things about this place. We recently stayed here for a Christmas getaway with the kids (ages 5 and 8) and were so impressed with the place. First - there’s lots of things for the kids to do. They had the air hockey table, pool, lawn games, and some games/books inside. Second - we loved how all of the TV’s were smart TV’s so we could login to our streaming apps. Even the TV on the patio! Third - you can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the place. There were plenty of extra blankets, fans, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, even wrapping paper. It was so nice to be able to show up to the house and not have to worry about anything. Fourth - the house is very well kept and space in all the right places. We enjoyed the large soaker tub, sectional couch, and incredible backyard. Lastly, the house is in a quiet, sleepy location that is close to shopping and restaurants. We felt like we were in a safe neighborhood. Overall - this house is perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Will be booking again!

Poorly managed property

The listing for this property shows a pool and a hot tub then after you book you find out… They charge you 75 extra just use the hot tub… Then there is absolutely no control of the hot tub whether you want air on or not- can’t control the temperature. Very very dumb set up.

Better stock

Nice place, 6 people stayed. Only 3 wash cloths were left. 2 cup coffee pot. 4 coffee cups. The home should be equiped for 6 people.

Great house & location. Wish they had cable (no signal available for any viewing in Mstr Bdrm). Should be instructions on getting hot water to showers (very different set-up). Didn’t use pool in evening as planned because unwilling to pay $75 for half hour use. Enjoyed our stay however, & home is lovely for several people. Very comfortable beds!

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed our stay here. The landscapers were a little bit of an early wakeup call on our last day ( 7am) but that is not in the owners control. The place was just as described. Great location.

Great place.

It was perfect for us. The only thing was that we had to message every time we wanted to have the spa turned on. Owner was very obliging but hated bothering them all the time. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and spacious, lovely yard

Accurately listed, clean, spacious. The kitchen table was not as advertised (the one pictured was a high top and this was a regular simple table), it was too small for our family of 5 to eat together. We used the island chairs so it was OK. It also needed more silverware if it is rated for 6 people. It was a bit odd to have to contact the owner each time we wanted to turn on the spa, but maybe this is a common thing in Arizona. They were very responsive and prompt with each request so it wasn't a big inconvenience. Overall, we had a lovely stay and I suspect anyone else would as well!

Found the gold!

Beautiful relaxing home with everything necessary for a restful and fun visit. The backyard was perfect for active little ones and the home had dishes, pool toys and our little ones had the best time and so did the adults. Owners were extremely organized and communicative. Would love to come back again soon!
