Convenient, Clean, Super Comfy
This adorable cottage was perfect for our stay as the location was central and close to everything we needed. It was super clean and organized and the beds were very comfortable. Last but certainly not least, Lisa was a gem and was there when we needed but gave us our privacy the entire stay. Highly recommend and will be back!

Peaceful, great pool, lovely garden, good location … charming hosts who are there if you need them, otherwise you have total privacy. A large garage to store your vehicle and holiday equipment is an added plus.

Lovely stay
I was in the Phoenix area for work and found Lisa and Jim’s beautiful cottage and was so happy it was available! It’s such a sweet place and very spacious with everything you could need. The bedroom is so pretty and the bed very comfy. I loved having the windows open to hear the sound of the wind chimes and the beautiful fountains on the property. Thank you Lisa and Jim for such a wonderful stay! Anne

Home away from home!
The cottage was a very homey feel with a comfy couch for relaxing, a huge bathroom for getting ready for the pool, and a comfy bed. The backyard was GORGEOUS with lots of beautiful plants; it was really an oasis! We greatly enjoyed the sparkling, well cared-for saltwater pool; we spent the whole day in it relaxing. It was an awesome reprieve from the Phoenix heat. Our host was very friendly and informative and let us know that the amount of interaction was up to us. It was great to know that I could knock on their door if I needed anything, but I didn’t have to worry about anyone being in our space when we were trying to relax. Definitely the perfect balance of privacy and attention to our needs. We would DEFINITELY stay here if we head to Phoenix again! Book the stay; you won’t be disappointed!

We found the guest cottage very comfortable with room to work and relax. very clean, with a large gathering space, kitchen and laundry. Outdoor spaces are beautiful and include pool access. Thank you very much for offering your home for travelers!

Quiet Oasis in Metro Phoenix
Lisa welcomed us and allowed us to visit nearby family at our leisure as if our own home. Quiet, restful, and very convenient to airport, downtown, freeways. We will be back!

Home away from Home
When traveling, a nice spot to come “home” to after a long day of exploring, touring the city is a must. This property offers everything of just that. You can relax on the patio with a good book, or in the house on the couch. It is a quiet area of Phoenix so you feel out of the city, but so close to many fun restaurants and shops you could walk to. You can drive an hour south and be in the desert or and hour north to be in the mountains. You have a ton of privacy as well. With a full kitchen you can stock the fridge, and wash your clothes before heading home. Truly a great spot for couples or families. A ten out of ten stars.

Perfect Cottage!
Thank you for a wonderful stay at your beautiful cottage. Many little cozy touches all over the space including a little dish on the bedside table for jewelry, AirPods, etc. It’s little things like that which stood out! Our only “complaint” is we didn’t stay longer to enjoy it more. Oh! It’s a very quick and easy drive to/from the airport. Thank you!

Nicely appointed Phoenix guest house
We enjoyed our stay in the charming, quiet, clean and well-appointed guest house of Lisa's, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others when staying in Phoenix! The hosts were warm and inviting, and the neighborhood felt quiet and safe enough to go for a morning jog, but still close to the heart of the city and freeway access.

My son and I came for the Super Bowl. Lisa was our 3rd reservation. The 1st two cancelled on us only to raise their rates to get the Super Bowl $$. Lisa didn’t cancel on us and raise rates. We appreciate her integrity. Hospitality was top notch. She was there if we needed anything but also gave us space to enjoy our guys trip. Accommodations are clean, spacious and perfectly fit our needs. It’s conveniently located to many things.

quiet and easy
The property is just as pictured. Didn't talk much with hosts aside from check-in which was all good - we were more into relaxing on our own and exploring the sights. The house was perfect to come back to to unwind and rest. Everything you could need was there. Too cold to use the pool (January) but it was pretty to look at!

Wonderful Birthday celebration
We were spending a couple of days in town to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The guest house was perfect! So comfortable and convenient! The pool was so inviting, but too cold for us! Next time we’ll need to stay when the weather is warmer. Lisa was so welcoming! Would recommend a stay here!

Quality time
Due to work, my fiancé is now living out of town. That being said we picked James and Lisa’s home as a place to be together and get some much needed quality time. Their home was absolutely perfect!! Had everything we needed plus so much more! Lisa put special touches in to make us feel super welcome! Fantastic property
My wife & I were looking for a quiet getaway for a week and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We were greeted by Jim, a super-nice guy, who gave us a quick tour of the property. He gave us the key & the openers to the garage & gate. He let us know that they are available to us anytime we need them but if nothing was needed we would have all the privacy we wanted. That was absolutely the truth. We met Lisa who is just as nice as Jim. We had full and exclusive access to the pool all week. We took advantage of the grill, the sunshine, and most of all, the peace. We would absolutely stay here again. Jim & Lisa are fantastic hosts. You really can't go wrong with this property. The cottage is private, peaceful, and safe. Great place to stay
We weren’t sure about staying in a property in someone’s backyard, but it ended up being great. It’s such a cute property and quite spacious inside…plenty of room for two! The property owners were very nice, but left us alone to enjoy the space. Small details go a long way, including a welcome sign, complementary water, coffee and creamer, high quality sheets & towels and more! We highly recommend !

Such a sweet, little house with everything you need for a stay in Phoenix. I loved listening to the bird songs on the patio outside the kitchen door. Wished I could have used the beautiful pool, but it was a little cool and the Desert Botanical garden and Chihuly were calling me. We would have loved to stay longer. Hope to see the welcome owners again!

Lisa and her husband were very friendly when we arrived. Explained everything to us and then left us on our own but with instructions to just call or knock on the door if we needed anything. We were just here for a short weekend and family wedding so we spent very little time here but my husband loved a dip in the pool every evening. The only thing that for us would improve the property is a TV in the bedroom but that's just us!

Very comfortable, spacious and private. Beautiful yard with lovely blooming flowers. Centrally located and convenient to sports venues, shopping and fine local restaurants. Our hosts were very accessible and made us feel very welcomed. We were there for a month and truly enjoyed getting to know them. We highly recommend Lisa & Jim’s cottage.
