While we do have a professional service steam cleaning and sanitizing the entire hotel a few times a year, our team certainly does shampoo our carpets to maintain cleanliness on a regular basis, so it is strange that this happened. We wish you had made our staff aware of this, as they would have gladly taken care of the issue and switched your room to ensure a pleasant stay for you. We will, however, speak to the room attendant who cleaned your room and remind the concerned staff member to report dirty carpets so they can be addressed before the room gets rented.
