Great Experience!
Nicole was an amazing host! We booked her property for our company to have a business retreat. It was the perfect setting for the managers of our various locations to come together for great food, fun, team building and strategic meetings. Nicole went above and beyond to help us in the planning process. We’ve usually held these events at hotel conference rooms in the past, and this was our first time booking a VRBO. Nicole worked with us on our dates of availability, put us in touch with an awesome caterer, and met our group upon arrival to show us around the spacious property. We highly recommend her listing whether you are looking for a personal family gathering or a business retreat!

Golf Trip
House was perfect for our 8 guy golf trip. So welcoming that we canceled most of our dinners and just hung out there. Nicole was responsive and fixed a hot tub issue asap. Would stay here again.

Simply the best!
The pictures do not do it justice. It looks amazing on line but is so much better in person! Nicole & Matt are the best. Easy to get a hold of and we’re available anytime I had a question, the houses are equipped with everything you need for your stay. We booked this venue for our Sales Team meetup in conjunction with the WM Open. The property was the highlight of the long weekend. Plenty of room to relax in the hot tub, unwind by the fire & watch the SuperBowl in the man cave, prepare & enjoy meals together in the large kitchen. The entire group enjoyed their stay & we will be back again!

The Barber Family
Such a unique and wonderful property that is just a perfect destination for both families and golf groups. It’s just 5 stars in every was…Matt & Nicole have set the home up to feel like a home… We had 7 in our party including a 7 month old (which was also perfect for little ones) but this Home/Casitas/Bunk Houses…can easily and comfortably hold many many more The Man Cave is something to behold… The Kitchen is perfect to bring in Chefs We felt very appreciative to be allowed to stay at The Lazy K….

Amazing family experience
We hosted my siblings, their kids, and grandkids over Thanksgiving weekend. It was spectacular and the pics don’t do it justice. Plenty of room for everyone, both to socialize but yet have their own space. Highly, highly recommend. And hosts were so great to work with - flexible, communicative, and accommodating. Will definitely look at booking again!

Awesome property!
Held a group meeting/retreat for 14 guys. Property was awesome. Beautiful place and had everything needed. Host was great and made sure we felt at home. Very convenient to everything AZ has to offer. We had a ton of fun in the man cave watching football and playing pool, used the grill and smoker, and the mini golf/chipping course was the best! If I’m in AZ with a group again will definitely re-book here.

Amazing trip!
After seeing the pictures on the listing, we were very excited for our stay. The property was even better than the pictures when we arrived. The sleeping situation is perfect, the property had everything you need, and the location is perfect for a golf trip. Added bonus that Nicole is an amazing host. We are already looking forward to the next trip!

Great buddies golf trip
Great for a buddy golf trip if everyone wants their own bedroom. Incredible place to hang and watch games/golf in the evening after the round. House(s) were clean and stocked. Nicole was a great host and went above and beyond. Only negative is it felt like everything was 30 min away. We’ll be back!

Great Property!
We were a corporate group that stayed here for a few days. The property was a great place to socialize. It had great indoor and outdoor spaces that could fit large groups. The sleeping spaces allowed for most people to have private spaces. The home owner was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great for a large guys trip
Had a group of 15 guys for a golf trip and this worked out perfectly. Only place we could find that had enough beds to fit everyone and there was plenty of space. The pictures and description online are very accurate. Beyond the bedrooms there are plenty of hang out spaces both indoors and outdoors. Everything was super clean and well stocked - cleaning supplies, linens, etc. We did not need to bring/buy much at all. Renters are super nice, Nicole and Matt were great and very responsive and there to give us a tour when we checked in. The location is great for golf, right next to some of the best. It's a bit of a drive to Old Town (~35 minutes) but seems most stuff is spread out down there. It is pretty close to Buffalo Chip which was a great rodeo bar we were lucky to hear about. Overall it's hard to find anything to complain about other than it's hard to hold a chip on that putting green! Thank you Nicole and Matt for everything.

Gorgeous property and BEST hosts!!
The pictures don't do its justice. The property is absolutely beautiful, the backyard is gorgeous and a lot more space than what we expected. Firepit, hot tub, game room - just the perfect fit for our company retreat. Nicole and Matt are just wonderful hosts. Nicole responded immediately to any questions and provided great recommendations, they really know the area well. They are both very personable and accommodating. This places deserves a 5***** PLUS!! WOW! The Greatest Time of Our Lives
The property is amazing! Everything we could think of was there… plenty of room, private spaces, whole group gathering areas, extra bedding, linens towels, & household supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, body wash, lotions, shampoo/conditioner, aluminum foil, trash bags, detergent, dryer sheets, etc. The beds were comfortable, plenty of dishes/glasses, and utensils, The beauty of it all can not be captured by pictures. It is an EXPERIENCE. Prior to our arrival, Nicole addressed all questions and concerns, and after arriving, Matt made sure that any problem we had or any questions were resolved and answered. We will be back!

Amazing and Perfect
The listing and the reviews hit the nail on the head. This place is amazing. Never rented a place that was SO well stocked (10 years of reunions) We were a group of 16 from four families. Everyone had a super comfortable place to sleep. Plenty of spaces to hang out, have fun, play games etc. The fireplace was beautiful and there was ample wood to burn. The Fan Cave checks all the boxes. The pitch and putt is a hoot. We were 20 minutes away from some really nice day hikes. Nicole and Matt were able to answer all questions and meet all our needs. This is not a party house and rightfully so. This is a home. If you want to reunite with friends and family like grown and responsible adults this is the place for you. Our group has met up across the south and southwest over the years and this was hands down the nicest and most complete place we have stayed. Loved it.

Awesome property for a large group
We had a great time. The property was everything advertised and more. The landscaping and lighting are incredible. The accomodations were spacious , clean, and well maintained. The amenties were perfect, we enjoyed them all. The kitchens were well appointed, we prepared a three turkey Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed. No body in our party wanted to leave, we definitely highly recommend this property. The owners also great to work with Greg and Lori Alvarez

I can’t begin to describe the compound. It had everything. Jacuzzi, man cave, putting and chipping course, fountains. It was spectacular. Great host. Very responsive. Great hospitality. Loved it all.

Perfect Stay
Excellent area, great house with tons of room and comfort for all of us! Well thought out lay-out and very well decorated as well. The backyard was amazing and great place for us to hang out at night. Highly recommend this house for large groups. Great host, very responsive and accommodating.

An exceptional experience.
Exceeded my expectations in nearly every category... it is a special place. Part ol’ west theme park, mixed with local decor, plenty of comfort, perfectly clean, and lots to entertain with on site. Soooo many little details...it felt like every “throw pillow” had a story behind it. Nobody will want to leave for dinner reservations....they will want to spend time at this place. Even more beautiful at night than in the day....an outdoor lighting Master Class. Great host....exceptional property....very sad that we had to eventually leave.

Aaw Mike thank you! I had to chuckle the other day when I was preparing for my guests and fluffing my throw pillows!! Lol Your review is so heart warming. I have ut some much love into this property and it was so nice to be “seen” in my creativity. Great place
Perfect house for guys trip. Pictures don’t do justice for the size of the property. Backyard is a golf lovers paradise. Sauna and hot tub were great amenities to have after being on the course. Approx. 20-30 from everything in Scottsdale and PHX airport. We will definitely be back

Perfect Spot for a Guys Golf Trip
We had a group of 15 guys stay here for a golf trip and the Waste Management Open, and this place could not have been more perfect. The house is incredible and exactly as described. Plenty of space for everyone and about a 20-minute drive to TPC. The mancave in the garage was the perfect spot to relax on Sunday and watch the Super Bowl. Nicole and Matt were amazing hosts and were able to meet us at check-in to show us around. They were staying next door to the property and are very responsive in case there are any issues during your stay (though we didn't have any). Our group is already planning our next visit!

Perfect for Dad's 90th birthday party!
The property and decor are even more amazing than the pictures. At night the carefully placed colored lighting makes a magical backdrop. We had a very wide range of ages and physical abilities in our group and no one felt left out due to the variety of building and room layouts. Some could stay in the main house while special young folks got the "outhouse" (an out cabin with an outhouse facade). Nuclear family groups could stay together in their own casita (huge and fully stocked). There are a lot of "zen" get-away spaces if you need quiet time to relax or nap or quiet a child while others can kick it up in the man cave, chipping course or hot tub. We used the hot tub as a swimming pool for little ones by turning the temp down. It is covered so the sun stays off of you and doesn't heat the water up. Tons of photo opportunities abound for family reunions. Everything was clean and available. Plenty of utensils, cookware, cleaning supplies, linens, washers/dryers, refrigerators/freezers etc. You don't have to bring anything besides food, clothing and a good attitude. Owner is super friendly and very available. We had a glitch with A/C that was fixed that day! Did not find any insects or rodents (e.g. scorpions or mice or ants). One "red racer" or coachwhip snake was out mid morning in the garden area for us to casually enjoy. There are so many activities available that even my 3 day stay was not enough to try them all. We will not hesitate to come back for fun and hopefully a 95th birthday party!

Great Golf Trip
We stayed at Lazy K ranch on our annual guys golf trip - 14 guys. This was a great place for the group to relax with the chipping green, man cave, and hot tub. Nicole was very welcoming and allowed us to come a little early as well. We had a minor issue with getting the hot water in two of the showers, but were eventually able to get it to go and I discussed with Nicole after and she was going to resolve. All in all a great place to spread out and relax!

Perfect Getaway Retreat for golfers and families
This set up was perfect for a team of 12 golfers for a getaway weekend. Plenty of bedrooms, baths, kitchens and space in a unique setting. The main house and the two side houses were spacious. The extra casitas bedrooms were a unique touch to this very cool property. The game room was a great addition for late night fun. The outdoor patio with fire place was awesome for the group to hang out and laugh. We carried the competition from the golf course to the ping pong table to the chipping area. Lots of laughs and lots of fun and the space made that all possible. Highly recommended for golf weekends, family gatherings and getaways.

Wow
What a great place for our annual family vacation. More than enough space for everyone to enjoy and relax in. The main house was perfect for our kids with kids ( 5 of them under 6). And we used it as our getting together place. The two other houses were great for my husband and me and other daughter , her spouse and their older daughter. Although the weather was unseasonably cold, we all thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the outdoor fireplace, either wrapped up in a blanket and having a quiet read or after dinner drinks sharing our days adventures with each other. The man cave put all man caves to shame and we celebrated a wonderful New Year's Eve there playing crazy minute to win it games. Lots of room for the little ones to put on their "shows" . The grounds and landscaping were unique and there were so many cozy spots and yet the kids had room to play. The houses were well supplied , comfortable and inviting and the hosts were very kind and generous. Definitely a two thumbs up place to stay.
