"We loved the location (close to our family) and enjoyed our short stay. The hosts were very helpful and communicated very well. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us and was nicely and comfortably decorated. One note: I would have loved a full length mirror and some stepping stones or something outside the front door to allow us to enter and exit without stepping in a water puddle when the flood irrigation runs. "Clean, good location. Relaxing place, everything nice. Nice being able to park in driveway with gate (although it is tricky getting the car in and out of the alley). 2 reasons not 5 stars. The check-in process is complicated. You have to go to the back, open 1 lockbox to open the gate, go to the door, open another lockbox to get the key and driveway gate opener, open the gate and drive in, go to 1st lockbox and relock from outside, then go thru the gate and close the gate(!). "The casita is magical! It’s a wonderful place, centrally located to see the surrounding areas. So very clean and inviting with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool is amazing and refreshing. Visiting with the donkeys was a nice treat, they are so very sweet. The hosts are very gracious and accommodating. We’d choose Freda’s Casita again and again."

"Absolutely perfect! Beautiful views, quiet and relaxing overall. The only negative was the lack of comfortable patio furniture on the 2 patios. There’s 2 beautiful patios with hard folding chairs to sit on and no tables to put anything on. We still had incredible views and a good time, but would have been much better with patio furniture. "
