A few friends and I stayed here this past weekend for a music festival. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. Our sink was cracked and backed up but was able to be snaked. The building is a little older and so cosmetically the rooms need a little paint in the bathroom. The elevator from the parking garage is also up stairs and may not be convenient to someone with mobility issues. Other than that, the area was walkable and many food places and attractions around.

There was one employee who told me and a line of people on pride weekend that she didn’t know what she’s doing and we had to find another hotel. She stood on the counter as she told us and I ended up paying double the price at the last minute to stay at a dirty hotel. They also didn’t refund me or give me some type of compensation for spending that extra money for getting a last minute hotel on pride weekend

The staff was great. It was fairly clean. My main problem was the lack of management. The staff seems to run this place. The restaurant is absolutely terrible. We had dinner, chicken sandwich, which was basically frozen nuggets, and , since we’re gluttons for punishment, we did an inedible breakfast. Do. Not. Eat. Here. The proximity to the historic sites is unmatched. We also witnessed guests, who had reservations, turned away because of a computer system failure, then, was told they would not be refunded. THIS, made my blood boil. What if that was our group? We offered assistance to several people, and we were able to get them available rooms at another hotel. So, in closing, do not check in on a weekend. DO. NOT. EAT at the restaurant. AND, don’t expect too much. My stay. 4/10.
