Great stay in Pezenas

From start to finish, our stay in this apartment was perfect. David and Holly are super communicative and the apartment is very spacious and has everything you need in it. We were in walking distance of all of Pezenas. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

Live the small town French life!

Perfect location in this beautiful French town! Walk out the door and find bakery, butcher shop, fresh fruits and vegetables, within steps of the apartment! Also multiple excellent restaurants within 50 metres! The Saturday market is outstanding, again within a few metres from your door!

Location, location, location!

Comfortable, clean and spacious apartment right in the heart of beautiful Pezenas. Boulangerie and fruit and veggie shop across the street. Butchers around the corner. Fromagerie just beyond that and more great cafes and restaurants than you can count within a five minute walk! Not to mention the Saturday market less than a 30 second stroll away. What more could you need. David and Holly were perfect hosts. Very responsive and clear with their information. We loved David’s are which adorns the walls of Apartment des Artistes #6. We can’t wait to return.

great apartment in a great spot

Lovely, spacious apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance to everything. Parking was also a breeze. Loved it! Easy communication with owners. Just one thing :-)--you need to put power behind your shoulder when you shove open the front door. Otherwise, you'll think you can't get in.

Tellement bien situé

Nous avons séjourné deux semaines dans cet appartement bien équipé et très bien situé pour visiter tout Pézenas à pied et pour rayonner dans l'Hérault et dans l'Aude. Un appartement dans lequel on se sent bien

L appartement de David est Holly est superbe, tel que sur les photos. Il est très bien situé à proximité de tout et dans la vieille ville, il est très bien équipé. Il est spacieux et dans un endroit calme et nous appréhendions de ne pouvoir se garer mais nous avons toujours trouvé de la place et sur des parking. Bref nous vous le recommandons et merci à Daniel et Holly pour leur gentille attention dans le frigo et bravo pour vos talents d'artiste...

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé 2 semaines très appréciables (2 adultes et 2 enfants 4 et 2 ans) : l appartement est décoré avec goût, tout est pensé pour un séjour sans mauvaises surprises (numeros d urgences de la ville, cartes des restaurants environnants, cartes routières, jeux pour enfants, tapis de plage...).les propriétaires veillent au bon déroulement du séjour, ils restent disponibles pour toutes questions. Le quartier est très joli et bien situé, commerces et restaurants à proximité. Les nocturnes du centre-ville les mardi et vendredi sont à faire absolument... Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour à Pézenas ! Merci encore aux propriétaires.

Excellent séjour dans un appartement très accueillant et décoré avec beaucoup de goût

L'appartement était propre, accueillant , avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour agréable. Il est bien équipé et fonctionnel.Sa situation est idéale pour visiter profiter des richesses de la ville. David a pris des nouvelles durant le séjour pour s'assurer que tout allait bien.

Phantastic stay

From the beginning we felt very comfortable in this nice apartment. The washing bassins are made for mammoths as they are very high but not in the kitchen. It was a bit loud from outside. To the beach of Vias plage it takes only 18 min.

Lovely apartment in a charming French Town

This was our second stay in Pezenas. Last year we stayed in the L'Apartment des Artistes No. 1 across the hall from this apartment (L'Apartment des Artistes No.2) and loved it so much we decided to come back again this year and spend our summer holiday. We were not disappointed. The apartment has every convenience and is extremely clean. The owners' paintings really liven everything up. Pezenas is the perfect place to base yourself to discover this area of France. Nimes, Perpignan, Carcassonne and Montpellier are all 1 hour or less away. Finally the owners place great emphasis on communication and checked in with us regularly. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Een heerlijk appartement. Ruim, licht, sfeervol en zeer volledig. Ook de ligging in het stadscentrum is prima. Stil en alles bij de hand. Het stadje is bekoorlijk. Middeleeuws centrum met leuke winkeltjes. Goede restaurants en café's.

Absolute gem of a place!

We were so lucky to find this lovely apartment in Pézenas! We needed a base for us and our two children during the week of our friends' wedding nearby. We had alot of plans each day but, unlike with a hotel room, felt like we had a proper home to return to later. Everything was lovely and clean and the personal touches, such as a bottle of wine and milk waiting in the fridge at check in, were much appreciated. Communication from David and Holly prior to our trip was excellent. We arrived very late at night all tired from the flight and drive, but our very clear advice regarding parking and instructions on how to access the apartment made the whole process very easy! The only tricky thing was getting the luggage, pushchair and kids up to the second floor... Luckily my partner works out! David and Holly had set up a cot for our 8 month old, which was very kind and meant one less thing to pack. All linen and towels were clean and comfortable, and we particularly loved the kitchen. Just a heads up - the Spar downstairs appear to have a delivery at about 6am on a Tuesday, so a little noise from the trucks and trollies may give you an early alarm call... But other than that, its a nice quiet location, despite its close proximity to so many restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend a stay here and David and Holly as hosts! Thank you again for a wonderful trip!!

Excellent Location, Superb Apartment

This is an immaculate apartment with more than enough room plus all of the amenities for a very comfortable stay. This apartment has superb ambience and location as it is adjacent to the old town centre of Pezenas and is just footsteps away from a daily historical exploration and the numerous artists and artisans. Fresh fruit and vegetable vendors, bakeries, butchers & charcuterie, fresh seafood, and cheese, numerous restaurants and cafes are moments away from the apartment entrance. The popular weekly Saturday Pezenas market is just around the corner. An excellent, comfortable apartment with a superb location to experience the "joie de vivre" in the south of France.

CINQ ETOILES - SUPERBE!

Large apartment in the center of town, with many restaurants, grocery stores and shops nearby. The large Saturday market in Pezenas is just a few steps from the front door. The unit features high end appliances, including an induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and clothes washer. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms kept the apartment cool. Free parking is a brief walk away. A great location for day trips to so many terrific places. The owners, David & Holly, are the most attentive property owners we have ever encountered! They provide excellent instructions and respond almost immediately to questions or comments. Five Stars - Superb!

Excellent rapport qualité-prix

Bel appartement où tout est prévu pour le confort des occupants. On se sent privélégié : les hôtes nous laissent vivre chez eux et ont tout préparé pour nous! Encore mieux que sur les photos qui ne montrent pas tout l'espace qui agrémente ce logement. Décoration élégante et raffinée ; les fenêtres s'ouvent sur des rues étroites mais même en hiver, les pièces principales sont ensoleillées le matin ou l'après-midi. Les équipements sont fonctionnels et sophistiqués (ex : plusieurs cafetières). Literies très confortables. Linge de qualité. Situé au cœur du vieux Pézenas, mais trés calme. Tout ce qui est intéressant est accessible à pied, et les commerces, le marché du samedi sont tout proches. Magré la distance, les propriétaires, très prévenants, sont à l'écoute de la moindre question. J'espère bien pouvoir y retourner!

Fantastic location, great apartment, wonderful amenities

We stayed a week in David and Holly's Pezenas apartment last September 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. The location is great, close to the town centre and all the shops and restaurants yet quiet at night. Parking was easy at either of the two parking lots within a 5-10 minute walk. The apartment is bright, very well equipped, comfortable, and clean with a nice atmosphere and character. The Pezenas Saturday market is a must see, but make sure you park your car the night before and don't plan on moving it Saturday as parking becomes crazy during the market. We did a number of day trips to vineyards, castles, medieval towns, beaches, and all are within easy reach by car. Restaurants are abundant in town with our favourites being La Pomme d'Amour for crepes or the salads at La Terrasse at lunch and Casa Lorca or Les Palmier for dinner. The big Carrefour has everything you need but we preferred to buy from the smaller local merchants who were all very nice to deal with (even with our terrible attempts at French). Our only suggestion for improvement would be to use a different mattress pad as the ones that were on the beds didn't "breathe" so we found them to be too hot for sleeping well. We also want to say a special thanks to David and Holly who were so gracious in sharing tips for the area before our trip and for checking in with us during our stay to ensure all was good. Elegant and spacious apartment. Great location in Pezenas!

The artist's touch made this apartment such a pleasure to stay in! It is a wonderful blend of historic property and modern amenities. It was extremely well equipped; it had everything we needed including wifi and we were very comfortable. The apartment was spacious and everything was spotless. We were welcomed with the owner contacting us to confirm we had everything we needed (thank you for the delicious bottle of local wine and your site seeing tips). We are traveling with our 2 boys who loved the lego! Stepping right out the door into the fascinating and historic Pezenas, we shopped in the Saturday outdoor market for fresh fruit, vegetables and an amazing tapanade. The Spar corner market was right next to us for everything else! The winding streets, delicious restaurants, cafes, patisseries and unique artisan shops made every turn captivating. The ice cream shops and the fragrant soap shop were some of our favorite stops. This apartment was an amazing base to explore Pezenas and the surrounding area. wonderful week in Pezenas

We have recently stayed at Les Artistes 2 in Pezenas. From the outset, the owners were very responsive and were able to help us out when our plans had to change from our original booking. Instructions for arrival at the apartment were clear, although driving in some of the narrow Pezenas streets was an adventure! We found the apartment spacious, clean, well-equipped and as advertised. Although there is no air-conditioning, we found that using the provided pedestal fans and closing shutters during the day kept the apartment cool in the above 30 degree temperatures. The location of the apartment is ideal. There is a small Spar supermarket on the corner and on the opposite corner was a wonderful traiteur who provided us with many ready made meals during our stay. There were a number of butchers, bakers and fruit and vegetable shops close by as well. The market on Saturdays is about 100 metres away. Although parking is off site about 600 metres away, it is free and under surveillance camera. We did not mind this short and pleasant stroll. Thank you David and Holly. We would love to return again.
