A fabulous place to stay, the house is furnished to a very high standard, with everything you could need, the pool was really lovely too. With only a short walk you can be in Petworth town centre which has great shops & pubs and also a lovely cinema, which is worth a visit. Carole & Robert are great hosts. I would highly recommend the Poolhouse

Beautiful pool house

This is a lovely property in a very nice location. We stayed here for 4 nights. The bedrooms were all ensuite and a good size. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything you nneeded

Lovely Home in a Lovely Area

We stayed at the Pool House only last week, and had a lovely time. There were 3 reasonably sized double bedrooms all with en-suite which was a real plus. The pool was large and well-used over the week! It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, yet within a 200 yard walk, you were in the town of Petworth. The coast is within easy reach, our favourite destination being Littlehampton which we really enjoyed. There were a few gripes (the TV could be larger, you have to walk through the downstairs bedroom to reach the pool, and I thought paying for pool heating on top of the cost of the rental was a bit much) but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property. Helene and Robert were also very nice and quick to respond to one or two issues that we had, but left us to our own devices the rest of the time.

Charming property in ideal location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was beautifully appointed throughout with everything needed for our stay. The location is ideal, accessible to restaurants and stores as well as Petworth House, but also perfectly peaceful. Carole was great to deal with both before and during our stay. Highly recommended.

Half term mini break

A very comfortable house, well presented with a relaxed feel. Great location for the South Downs and walking into Petworth including Petworth House. A well equipped kitchen also the bonus of all 3 bedrooms being en suite. Carole contacted us throughout our stay to make sure all was fine and whether there was anything else we needed. Overall a very enjoyable stay, thank you Carole.

Perferct For Our Needs

Lovely property in the ideal location for the town, Petworth Park & house and the surrounding countryside. No need to take a car, just do everythnig from the property. Lovely & clean property nestled in a quiet location so no issue with traffic. Owner very helpful and kept in touch during the stay to make sure all was OK. Highly recommended.

Making memories

I stayed with my dad, brother and sister the host was welcoming and gracious, very kindly left us some welcome items. The house was well equipped for home cooking, very clean and comfortable. Location is beautiful we enjoyed amberly museum and Petworth House and park before cooling off back at the pool. We enjoyed a bbq and made some fabulous memories as a start to my dads 80th birthday celebrations

Perfect stay in Petworth

Carole and Robert are great hosts and have done all they can to make the property a high standard and very comfortable. The bed linen, towels and mattress are extremely high quality. To find a property with a pool is just wonderful. The garden is beautiful and such a relaxing stay away from London. Everything is close by with a 5 minute walk and I would love to return and rebook. They also made my dog Lou feel extremely welcome ! Wonderful hosts and a wonderful property - thank you so much !

Peaceful retreat

Just steps away from all that Petworth has to offer. The Pool House is beautifully appointed and very comfortable in every way. The hosts are very friendly and always on hand, living in The Old Rectory next door. This was our second visit and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

Perfect stay

This is our first choice for stays in or near Petworth. We have stayed at this lovely little house several times and we plan to return. It has everything we need, is super clean and comfortable and it is just steps from the village and the park. The hosts Carole and Robert are very accommodating

Just perfect and in the best location in Petworth

Perfect little house in the ideal location for visiting Surrey/Sussex. An easy stroll to the local shops including our favorite place for morning coffee. Just opposite Petworth Park, so ideal for your morning walk. Walk or drive to several nice pubs. The hosts Carole and Robert are very accommodating. We have stayed here several times before and we hope that we will always be welcome back.

2nd stay

This is our second stay at the Poolhouse. Carole was just as helpful and gracious as before Property is modern and clean throughout. Three bedrooms and three baths which is not the usual in England. Kitchen has everything you will need. Great walking location to Petworth town, Petworth Park and local footpaths. It has all we needed and then some. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Already booking for next year.
