"This property was amazing! Once you get up the external stairs and then the internal staircase you are left with everything you need for a short term stay. Beds and living room furniture are comfortable, kitchen adequately stocked, plenty of storage, lots of extra towels and very clean.Be ready to make many 180 degree turns into this home's driveway on the end of a busy street, but just take your time. Very nice location within walking distance to grocery stores and plenty of fast food...

"Perfectly outfitted house with spectacular views, very good beds, comfortable couches, good kitchen supplies. Eileen and Glenn were very responsive to questions. Eileen gave us freshly baked blueberry cake and garden vegetable for salad. Flatrock is a great location for hiking and quick runs to St. John's. If we return,Mathis is where we will stay. "

"This cozy apartment is central to most of the sites of St John’s. We could leave the car at the property and walk to downtown, Signal Hill and The Rooms. The apartment was roomy, comfortable and decorated with care and attention. The hosts were prompt in replying to my many questions prior to arrival. Check in and check out was easy. No hesitation in recommending this property to friends and family."

"Wonderful neighborhood. About a 40 minute walk to downtown St. John’s which we loved. Spacious rental. While I had difficulty setting up a VRBO account to communicate with the property manager, I was able to communicate with people places and things through my email. The host was so kind and gracious and wanting to make sure that all our needs were met. Would definitely stay here again."
