"Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun. Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. "

"This property is older but had a lot of things that I look for in a place to stay. It had a lot of towels, pots, pans, condiments, and utensils available. We were able to log in to the one tv with our streaming apps which is a bonus. The owner was easy to communicate with regarding our stay, which is nice. It was close to beautiful hikes and the Buffalo River. The reason for the 3 stars is due to it being very outdated along with having many insects. The rugs and many decorative pillows...

A nice fire pit was provided in an open area with chairs and some wood (we brought additional wood and burned all of it). The cabin was well-prepared and attractive. "Great place to stay. As soon as we opened the door we were impressed. As noted in description it is near hiking trails with lots of waterfalls. Only semi-drawback is the cell phone signal is nonexistent in house. But as noted there is a little up close to road. We spent one day exploring forest roads in our 4wd Toyota FJ and next day hiking. Host is extremely helpful with suggesting hikes to waterfalls. We will be back. "

"This cabin was great. It was a great size, super clean and nicely decorated. Loved the front and back porches to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. Debra makes bread and such a nice smell when you open the door. Nice little touches to have some of the toiletries case you forgot something. Loved having the Keurig and the snack bars. Close enough to Jasper in case you want to head back into town"
