This was a fantastic, charming cottage equipped with everything we could need! There was lots a comfortable seating and a gas stove to snuggle around. The home was immaculate with plenty of places to store your gear. We could not have asked for a better place to stay, winter or summer. We so hope to stay here again!

Boyne cottage

Wonderful place, had everything we needed for a family ski weekend. We had two children ages 2 & 4 with 5 adults and we had plenty of room for all. The best part was the cozy family room with fireplace!

Lakeside cabin

The property was very cozy and relaxing for us on our vacation, it was also pristinely clean, it was also very close to downtown Boyne city and was a very easy walk to the water. If we are in the area again we would gladly stay at the cabin again if available!

Boyne City Visit

Came to stay in Boyne City for a soccer tournament in Petoskey and found the Cedar Hill Cottage. Beautiful inside and out! Great location to walk into town for shops and restaurants! Close to a local beach to enjoy the lake and lovely views! Everything we could ask for when we were not at a soccer game! Excellent hosts who were accommodating and quick to respond to any questions! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Gramma's house

Reminded me of my gramma's house. Old, but interesting and inviting. Everything was clean and tidy. Christmas tree was still up for our early January stay! Just follow the check-in instuctions closely and there will be no problem. Toilet in basement was interesting, but manageable. When locking front door, pull on the handle while hitting button.

2nd stay and will be back again

This was our second stay in this home. Last time was also a new years trip. We really love the town of Boyne City - especially all of the restaurants and this is thre perfect home base. The 2 rooms upstairs give our boys the option to spread out or be together. 2 family rooms both with TVs allow us to share or split up. I noticed that the main floor bedroom mattress has been replaced since we last visited. Also noted there are now headed pads on the front steps! No slipping! this home is a very short drive to the mountain for skiing and has ample room to keep your gear. If we decide to return to Boyne for the holidays next year this is the first place we will try to rent.

Great downtown location

We are a family of 6 and had such a nice time here. The location to walk to town and the beaches are great. The kids loved sleeping on the front porch and the adults enjoyed the quiet backyard. The hosts were very easy to get in contact with and resolved any issues/questions right away. We would recommend this vrbo to our friends and family.

Fantastic location within a short walking distance to downtown!

Our family had a great time and this house is a perfect location to downtown Boyne City. Close drive to Whiting Beach plus easy drives to Harbor Springs, Petoskey and Charlevoix. The house was comfortable and relaxing to stay in. Matt and Sheila were fantastic with communications and replied back very quickly with any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

Pleasant Stay

Overall experience was great. We spent two nights while visiting family in town. Kitchen was very modern and had everything we needed. Wouldn't recommend to people over 60 years old or with limited mobility, because of two bedooms being upstairs. Sheila was very helpful and was available to answer us if we had any questions.

Loved our stay! The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed. Quick walk downtown, and a short drive to the ski hill. Owners were great to work with! Plenty of spaces to hangout and enjoy the company of your group. Overall fantastic experience.

The house was quaint and quirky. The kitchen was very well stocked, there were extra blankets and an extra heater for the cold den which we used as a bedroom. We would have appreciated a physical book with instructions and explanations which we often needed to look up in the online document. It was a lovely place!

Thanksgiving in Boyne!

We loved staying here! It was perfect! Roomy, comfortable, clean, everything you need in the kitchen, and most of all I loved the vintage decor! My favorite was the master bedroom! And the porch! Such a fun place to stay! Thank you! We ❤️ Boyne City!
