  • Welcome to the vacation of a lifetime! Tucked into the woods, this three-bedroom, very private, luxurious mountain cabin is built in a lightly wooded area, close to golf and the Alpine chair lift to the slopes. Access the complimentary shuttle at Boyne to get to the slopes. You get the best of both worlds- golf and skiing!
    This professionally decorated cabin has a master bedroom located in the upper level with a king bed, hutch with TV, and full bathroom. The guest bedrooms are located in lower level with queen beds, along with two additional bathrooms.
    The living room features a Gas Fireplace to warm up to after a day on the slopes.
    There is a washer and dryer in the unit as well.
    Our home has a gourmet kitchen and amenities include coffee maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, range, dishwasher, dishes, cooking utensils. There are lots of windows and an incredible view of northern Michigan from the living room.

    ***During the Winter Months, 4-Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive is highly recommend to access this property***

    **** Please note that this property utilizes a chairlift with a lift schedule that is subject to change that can be accessed following a short walk to the path where you can ski down to the Alpine Chairlift. We encourage you to access the Boyne Mountain website for the lift schedule, as units are not always ski-in/ski-out.
    The Area:
    Boyne Mountain is a golfer's and skier's paradise, offering the top-rated skiing, snowboarding, and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing, and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals, and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets.
    Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City.
    Looking for a day trip? Visit Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes. These are just a few options during your visit in Northern Michigan!

Absolutely loved Boyne City. Cabin was close enough to Boyne city and Petoskey. The location was beautiful.

Great Cabin in the Woods!

This was by far our favorite rental in the Boyne area. Both kids had their own room and bathroom and the hot tub was great after a day of skiing.

Cabin had a good layout for Grandpa and Grandma and the family with grandkids in the lower level. Easy drive to Boyne city and Petoskey and Charlevoix for day trips.

Short getaway

The cabin was very relaxing and everything was comfortable. We enjoyed the deck and privacy of the hot tub. We had a great time. The cabin had everything we needed and in working order!

Love the Mountain Cabins at Boyne

We love the Mountain Cabins at Boyne. They have plenty of room for families, and the back porch makes you feel like you're in a secluded treehouse! We really enjoyed Deer Lake and the SkyBridge too!

Driveway short and steep, very slippery with snow. Pantry was filled with paint supplies, dining room table was small and chairs did not fit. Very disappointed in the cabin

We had the opportunity to stay over Christmas and experience a great stay. Comfy beds. Super clean. Quiet. Great Hot tub! Plenty of space for food. Close to nature and the slopes. We loved our time there!

Lovely stay

We had a great long weekend at the cabin. It had everything we needed (we did bring extra towels for the hot tub). It was clean and the check in/out process was smooth. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin. Totally equipped with any cooking utensils, appliances you need. Firewood provided a close to cabin. There is a lift close enough to walk to or you can call the shuttle for door to door free service. Everyone loved the hot tub. Thank you Renee

Was 5 minutes away from a nice beach area, golfing and the main part of Boyne Mountain. When we had a question, the host would get back with us right away. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay there again next year.

Mid winter break FUN

I’ve stayed in the mountain cabins a few times and love the layout for staying with kids. I invited my sister and her boys and it was a great family hangout spot for our first ski vacation. My sister loved the spacious first floor and 3 bedroom/3bathroom layout. Multiple times commented on how it was way bigger than the pictures made it appear. We loved proximity to Alpine lift , the kids loved the floor and table space for their games and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always, we really enjoy staying at Mountain Cabins, tucked away off the back side of Boyne Mountain Resort. While this 'neighborhood' is a great option for ski-in/ski-out lodging, this cabin sadly was NOT slope accessible without a short walk to the entry point. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the communication with rental mnmgt company was amazing, and everything was clearly laid out in the information they shared. We were however a little bummed about a few things, and wanted to note them in our review for future renters to plan accordingly:THE GRILL: While the cabin does come with a nice Weber grill, we were informed to bring our own propane if we wished to use it. Which for a short stay wasn't something we cared to purchase, pack, hookup, etc. We feel like if you have a grill to offer, propane should be included. Esp for the nightly rental rate.TOWELS: 3 full bathrooms AND a hot tub, yet only 1 towel per guest is provided. In other words, we wish we would have brought our own hot tub towels along with, or that the house would have provided some to avoid using the same towel for showering and hot tubbing.TRASH: For having a large full-size kitchen and every gadget imaginable, the house only provides a VERY small, under-sink, trash can. We'd recommend they provide a larger somewhere in the house, or guests will need to get creative like we did. ;)
