After spending time in Rome and Assisi, my husband found this gem for our family to have a few days to reflect on everything we had seen before heading home. "We stayed for 5 weeks and enjoyed it. It’s ideal for 2 people, 3 for a short stay. Very comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen and dining area. Light and airy with several windows. Handy having a washer and drying rack for clothes. Beautiful grounds, views of the lush Umbrian countryside, and friendly and accommodating co-hosts (no English) who live in the family villa. Excellent for a car. 25 minute walk to Perugia center and convenient to bus route. No air conditioning, but floor fans...

"The property is a haven of peace off a busy street. Easy to get into the old town by use of the wonderful mini metro that was less than 5 minutes walk away. Also walking distance to the railway station where we also hired a car. Great to have off street parking. The beds were comfortable and the only things we missed were armchairs (the property is not large enough to have a lounge) and some milk and teabags to make a drink on our arrival."
