"Seven of us stayed at this fabulous house in mid-September. The house itself is beautiful and immaculately clean. All of us (3 couples and 1 single) had separate bedrooms and our own in-suite bathrooms, and there were an additional 3 bedrooms we didn't need to use. "We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. That was a shame because it was only a couple of hundred meters away from our accommodation. The nearest place to eat is a 20 minute walk to the next...

"Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"
