"Staff wouldn’t check us out in the morning, used soap in the bathroom, dirty nightstand."

"Excelente hotel "

"This hotel is an oasis of civilization in rural Maine. It is attractive, comfortable and clean. You will need a car in Presque Isle, or pay the sole taxi $35 each way to and from the airport."

"Room and staff were very helpful. Drop off and pickup at the airport were excellent. Don"

"An absolutely charming place. It is a very cozy house and the treatment is very familiar. The room we had really spacious and perfectly decorated, which highlights the large vintage collection of iron plates and other antiques. The owner very friendly and fun, with an excellent service of homemade breakfast. Maximum cleaning in the room. Comfortable bed. Excellent wifi. I do not think there's a better place in Caribou. Thank you so much for everything...!!!"

"Clean, fun and the Lake was amazing!"

"Nice quiet place and had everything for a nice stay."

"Although there is construction going on at the hotel it was very nice. The only complaint we have is the AC unit in the room kept shutting off all night and one of us would have to turn it back on"

"It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin. The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left...

"A beautiful cottage set in a wooded camp on Portage Lake. We kayaked and canoed. Very rustic, but super comfortable. Washer/dryer was a bonus! Hiked up Hedgehog Mountain, drove on to Fort Kent. Grilled some fish and relaxed on the wonderful covered patio. "
