Beautiful sea view

Location was good for us, it was easy to self cater or go out to eat. Quiet with lovey view from the deck. We enjoyed our stay.

Sandpiper cottage is a lovely place to stay, very clean and the Christmas tree and decorations were a lovely touch.The view is amazing and having a parking space is a big bonus. We would definitely stay again.

A wonderful stay, the views are beautiful and we saw some amazing sunrises The property gets warm very quickly and the wood burner makes it cosy Having our own parking was a real bonus Would highly recommend

Great to have parking and even though steep it’s only a short walk to the pub in Paul and the harbour restaurants in Mousehole. Comfortable bungalow in a quiet location with lovely garden/decking and a wonderful view.

fantastic stay

This is our second stay here and it was lovely again. Cannot fault anything. A brilliant place to stay, so close to everything, good bus service and a lovely pub. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful Mousehole.

Lovely stay at the Sandpiper in Mousehole. Everything was as expected. Property clean and well kept. Beds very comfortable. Beatiful views and easy parking directly outside property. We were very lucky with the Spring weather so managed to visit much of the area. The property is situated on a steep hill so need to be physically fit if you are walking.

Lovely Little Spot

We can only echo previous excellent reviews of this property. We were very comfortable and even enjoyed the rainy views during our week here, interspersed with gorgeous sunlight. Simon was more than helpful with a couple of queries before our stay. We hope to return.

Lovely Sandpiper home from home

We were very comfortable staying at Sandpiper. It was in a beautiful spot and had all the home from home amenities. Short of nothing. Parking space very handy. It was spotlessly clean and the wine and biscuits were a lovely touch to welcome us. I would be very happy to go back and stay at Sandpiper when I am in Cornwall again for sure.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning and the cottage is very well equipped. The decking is a lovely sun trap and the garden is private. We had a small dog and , whilst the garden is mostly fenced, we kept her on a really long lead as there were some gaps she could have slipped through. The cottage was very clean and Simon, our host, was super helpful and responsive with any queries. Mousehole has some fantastic restaurants, 2 Fore Street being our favourite. Well worth a visit if you like fish.

Mousehole at Christmas

This was a perfect property for our festive stay in Mousehole. The property was clean and well maintained and everything that we could possibly need was provided. We absolutely loved the sea view and the real fire. The host was quick to respond to any queries and a real star! The description was accurate and any potential problems (such as the fairly steep walk down into the village) were highlighted in advance. Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay at 'Sandpiper', and would love to revisit in the summer!

Cottage with superb views of the sea

The cottage was very well equipped, with a particularly good shower but the rooms are quite small, their finish is somewhat utilitarian, and 4 adults would have struggled. When we arrived the cottage was cold and gave us the impression that it had not been occupied for some time. Our arrival experience would have been much enhanced if the heating had been on.

Sandpiper, Mousehole

Well equipped, comfortable with a wonderful view of Mounts Bay. The dedicated parking for the property is a real advantage. Within walking distance of Mousehole (500 m) with its good selection of amenities, shops pubs and restaurants. It should be noted there are no grocery outlets or proper beaches in Mousehole. However, there are all the big supermarkets in Penzance only 20 minutes away. Good beaches are at Porthcurno and Sennen only around 30-40 minutes away. Overall we had an enjoyable holiday at this property. The view makes it!

Very enjoyable

Had a lovely stay at Sandpiper. We miss that view already. It was great having the heating on to come home to on the evenings it was a bit chilly. We were also able to enjoy sitting on the decking one day. The only thing I would criticise is that the double bed linen needs updating as there were no buttons on the duvet and the mattress protector etc had seen better days and didn’t stay on too well. Also it had a smell of not being dried properly.

Wonderful Sandpiper

A wonderful stay In the Sandpiper in Moushole. Perfect bungalow to stay in. Yes it’s up a steep hill but fantastic view across Mousehole. Very pleased to have the parking space outside the house. Bungalow itself is just like in the photos. Enough space for two people, four might feel a bit cramped in the lounge. Kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery, utensils, cups, plates and glasses. Washer / Dryer is a must. Shower was hot and powerful. Bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. Plenty of seating outside, unfortunately it rained practically every day so we never got to use them. My recommendations are: Walk everywhere if you can. Bus every 20 minutes from the Harbour to Penzance. Walk up the hill to the village of Paul. Beautiful pub called The Kings Arms, food was amazing and humongous!! Walk to Lamorna Cove, will take about an hour through country lanes or go the muddy way via the SW Coastal Path. We came back via the main road and found the Lamorna Pottery and Cafe. Wonderful little place. Just be careful walking on any road. We then got the Coastal Bus to Sheffield (next stop) and walked through Paul to Mousehole. A totally wonderful week of walking and seeing some great sights. Despite the weather. Would we come back? Oh yes.
