The property was as advertised and worked well for our group of six from ages 13 to 77. It was extremely convenient to main street, the beach, and Lakeshore Drive to be able to walk to most everything we wanted to go to. The owners responded quickly and were attentive, checking in throughout our stay.

Beach house

Excellent location. Sat on the beach across the street almost every day. Hosts were amazing. BBQ and patio were perfect for cooking and dining. Only negative was no central AC. Although the upstairs with bedrooms had a window unit and kept it comfortable for sleeping Would stay again

Super clean, great location, responsive and friendly host

We had a great stay at this property. The unit is very clean and well stocked, with comfy beds. This is a back duplex unit, and as such there is no view of the lake, other than standing at the upstairs window, even though it is a lakeshore address. However, our host was kind enough to allow us to use the front yard and set up our chairs and we enjoyed that immensely. The unit is walking distance to everything, and wineries and shopping just a short drive away. Thank you to our host for your friendly and prompt responses!

Great vacation home in Penticton!

Our family stayed at Fred and Joanne’s vacation rental for a week in July and had a wonderful time! Cleanliness, communication, location and amenities were all incredible! Overall, a great experience for us! We would love to visit again :)

A Home We'll Return To

This home made for a very memorable week for our family. It was attractive, well furnished, well maintained, clean, and had a nicely stocked kitchen. We enjoyed bbq's and dinners on the back patio and the location couldn't be better - right across the street from the beautiful beach! Walking distance to restaurants, bars and ice cream shops. Joanne and Fred were great to deal with and we'll certainly be returning in the future.

Beautiful beach property

This was a perfect property for us to celebrate a birthday. We were 3 couples in or 50’s and 60’s and it worked out great with a nice living room and a nice table in the back. Location was great and we walked across the street for a swim every day. Kitchen was very well equipped and having 2 washrooms worked great. There’s a bunch of nice restaurants down the street and we could also walk into town for the market. At night it was very quiet. Our host’s Joanne and Fred were very friendly and responded to all our questions quickly. Hope others will enjoy this spot

Penticton Homecoming

For the first time in 50 years my brother and I returned to our mother's beloved hometown to meet up with our Canadian relatives. The home was a lovely place to enjoy the view of the beautiful Lake Okanogan, walk the beach, or to walk to shops and restaurants. We appreciated having everything we needed at our fingertips to prepare food inside or on the patio where we could also grill our meals then eat outside. The home was extremely welcoming and comfortable, meeting all of our needs and living up to our highest expectations. Such a lovely experience!

Very nice

We booked this property to attend the Penticton Jazz Fest. We arrived to a clean and well maintained property which was well within walking distance of the festival venue as well as 5he downtown core.

Great family vacation home

Ideas

Overall we were happy with the rental. The beds were very comfortable and there was adequate bedding and towels. One comment is that we found the kitchen a little tight for more that one person at a time. I am not sure how to correct that. It was well stalked though and we got along fine. We did have a couple of trips up the step from the living space to the entry. I am not sure if that could be marked better. Over all great stay. Thank you

A wonderful home base to enjoy wine country

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Joanne and Fred were also extremely responsive which I greatly appreciate! The location is great - close to many amenities and very central for touring wineries in the region. Thank you Joanne and Fred!

We had a lovely few days stay at this extremely comfortable and spacious property overlooking the lake. The owners were extremely helpful And prompt to reply to any queries we had. Would definitely recommend this property and hope that when we next visit the Okanagan area we can stay there again.
