Everything about our stay was wonderful - super clean, such a convenient location and very quiet, wonderful amenities in the unit and the shared yard, and friendly welcoming hosts. We will definitely be back!

What a perfect getaway location! Spotless unit and outdoor amenities, steps from the KVR bike trail and a short walk to Penticton downtown and beachfront. Lovely hosts. Will absolutely stay here on our next trip!

The unit itself is lovely. Well appointed with lots of thoughtful little extras. The hosts are very communicative and everything is well explained. I would however not book again. All of the outdoor amenities including the yard space and hot tub are shared with what I assume to be other guests or hosts staying in other apartments. Nothing about the listing is inaccurate but it should be expressly stated that these are shared. The hot tub is basically open to a busy a street/walking path without any privacy. In general the place lacks privacy. For the price I was expecting to have exclusive use of the yard area and hot tub. It’s weird when another apartment with guests in it is looking at you through there windows when you want to use the hot tub. There is a dog that wanders the hallway between units and barks incessantly throughout the day. It’s a weird feeling, if I had clearly understood what I was getting I would be less upset about the experience, but I can’t help feel that Desert Shores is a bit of a bait and switch.

What a great stay for our family. Lisa was a wonderful host who made sure our stay was a very memorable and pleasant experience. Her place has everything one needs to enjoy their stay. Our furry friend had all she could want as well. Thank you Lisa!

Perfect Penticton Stay

Excellent place to stay during your vacation. The owners have thought of everything you need: dry racks for bathing suits, hooks in every room, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful products (soaps in kitchen and bathroom), extra blankets, luggage racks, and more. This place is more than pet friendly: it was pet welcoming too. They even had special dishes, blanket and bed for my pup. The space is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with laundry very conveniently located just outside the suite. (They even had laundry baskets for guests to use!) The hot tub in the yard was very clean. The yard very well kept and so nice to have outdoor space to use: my best was an afternoon nap in the hammock. Even more, the location was fantastic for us: easy walk to the lake and restaurants and the Saturday market. Located right on the path, for a perfect walk or bike riding option. Thank you to the owners for making our stay so comfortable. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Amazing property! Location is 10/10, super quiet but walkable to downtown Penticton. The backyard was peaceful and spacious for our dogs. The hosts was hands down the highlight of our stay. They were super helpful and went above and beyond for us. We appreciate the snacks and wine! We will absolutely come back.

Great Stay

Had a great stay, great parking, super clean and well equipped with supplies in the kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable, quiet, yet so close to many amenities. Very friendly and helpful host. Loved the outside area as well
