Check-in process was easy. The residence was exactly what was stated. Plenty of utensils, towels, and things to get started. Beach chairs and umbrella in the room were a nice bonus. You can rent them on the beach or use these for free! Great location for the pool and a few minute walk to the beach. It is on the beach but down a hallway or maneuvering your way through the pool area. No more than a couple of minutes at most. The place stayed nice and cool during the day and night. A variety of restaurants within walking distance. The communication was great leading up to the visit. Kept us informed and that was great. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the king bed was great. Would definitely stay and recommend this place.

Overall property and the unit itself was clean and well maintained. It was exactly as advertised. Walkout unit on second floor pool deck. The property has many gates and security, so getting onto the beach isn't necessarily fast - it's a bit of a walk, but it's easy enough. The beds were comfortable and the AC was cold. There's also several gas grills to cook on outdoors along with an onsite tiki hut that offers lots of food and drinks. The property has neat stuff daily for the kids. I'd say overall it's geared to the 13 and under crowd mostly. There were fireworks off the pier and a swim in movie night along with some dance alongs and face painting. I enjoyed being on the 2nd level because the first is a little busier and more roudy.Parking is easy and unloading was a breeze with the hand carts. Also, there's a ton of food options just across the street, we ate at AJs Shanty, the Old Steamer, played mini golf at an ice cream place and there's a few food trucks - all easily within walking distance. The unit was also well provisioned. Nothing was missing. Five stars.

We appreciated the detailed information that our host sent us leading up to our stay. The parking was great, unit was clean (bunk beds were great for the kids!), and we loved how easy it was to access the pools and beach.

Family Vacation

Great stay for a family getaway. Three separate pool areas for kids of all ages and also steps away from the beach. The kiddos loved the bunk beds with TVs and the main bedroom had a comfortable bed. Having a walkout patio to the pool area is a nice bonus. Location is also good. Minutes away from the boardwalk and Destin attractions.

Nice place

This is a very well equipped condo. Nicely decorated. The kitchen has every thing you need to do some cooking. Clean and comfortable. Located very close to all the pools.... great for the kiddos. However, if you have any mobility issues, (I do ) it is a bit of a walk to get to the beach.

Summer Vacation

Visited Waterscape for the first time with our young family. It is very much a family oriented property - the pool is filled with kids and the beach is a short easy walk from the property. The unit itself matches the description. Our kids loved the bunk beds as well as having a walk-out unit.

The unit was very nice and clean. The things we did not like was you could not get a chair for the pool due to guests saving them from open to close. Many times part of the pool was closed which was a terrible due to the double red flags on the beach.

First if all i am disabled. I could not park anywhere on the first floor close to my room because 2 thirds of the parking garage was roped off because of work being done. Let me say i saw work being done 1 day, that's it. I was instructed to park where it was blocked off so ibwas very was upset. The area is so congested and was hard to travel in and out of the complex. My room was not clean. It needs updating and a deep cleaning. The floors were clean to an extent. The grout is black in most areas. The toilet in the connected bedroom ran at times and is too low for a handicapped person. I saw dead bugs in some areas that looked like roaches. The bathroom fixtures need updating. The shower head in the shower was ridiculous, old and pieced together, no pressure whatsoever. There was dust everywhere and the kitchen was greasy and lacked appropriate utensils. The lock on the sliders was very loose and it was very aggravating to have to take that piece of wood in and out of the track. Thank you

April stay

We went to ft Walton for a dance competition. The overall hotel is very nice. Parking was a nightmare. Directions were not clear. When we finally found the correct elevator, we made it to the room. The washer had so much mold in it! The pull out bed was dirty. The floor still felt sandy. The chairs had crumbs on them still. It was just overall unclean.

We liked all the pools and easy beach access. Didn’t like that hot tub was out of service. The mattress was uncomfortable didn’t sleep well. But over all we enjoyed our stay.

Escape to waterscape fort Walton

Nice comfortable. Grounds beautiful nice walk to water front. Condo maybe not as clean as thought but okay. It just wouldn’t have passed a white glove test. Couple issues with closet doors and fridge but sure they will be taken care of before next guest arrives. Kitchen had enough to get meals prepared. Weather was cooler than normal so was glad to find extra blanket in closet. Need to be techy to do tv thankfully a neighbor helped figure it out. Would have been nice to have paper with available channels and what network they were. Also had no information on what different colored flags at beach meant. We purchased rugs to put by each door to keep from tracking in sand. But time passed quickly and was good vacation over all.
