The great: safe, gated area that was well lit; beautiful, bright cabin! Full kitchen, including stove, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, toaster, pots and pans and dishes; spacious shower; someone has really taken the time to furnish this place so it feels like home; minimal excess stuff, so toddler proofing was a breeze. The one bad thing, which we shared with the owner: the bed was very squeaky, so that when we moved to roll over or get up to use the bathroom, it woke the other person up.The things that prevented it from being perfect (for us): the only door is to the bathroom, so when I went to sleep, my husband had to do something in the dark or risk keeping me awake—not a big deal for us but might bother others. We couldn’t have our son’s family over as there wasn’t a way to separate their toddler from us for a nap time, but we just went to their house instead. Also, no shelves or dresser to keep our clothes in. There was a coffee table and a small decorative table we used, but since we stayed for five nights, it would have been nice to have a place to put our clothes so we didn’t have to dig in our bags each day. Again, very minor. We’d definitely stay again and are sad this place isn’t available when we come back down in May.
